My MIL always lights up yellow in the start up diagnostic.. but after the ignition it disappears.

Is it something to be worried about?? and twice today indicator showed the bike was in neutral but it wasn't the case.

I have only driven some 100kms. Should I take it to the svc??

Also do let me know which service center should I opt for in Delhi?

I am facing starter problem with my 1 month old duke now.The issue started after first service during which the Gasket was also replaced.
It is not exactly a Hot/Cold starting issue as it happens randomly.
Sometimes it just starts within ~1-2 seconds of pressing starter and without accelerator while sometimes it just refuses to start even after keeping starter button pressed for 5+ sec..there is usually a blast of air from silencer along with slightly loud sound and i need to give some acceleration along with starter for starting the bike.once started if i cut off the engine and start again,it starts within a seconds and without any extra acceleration.
This is not specific to cold/hot start as in morning when i took out my bike it started within a second but while taking it out from office in evening it took 3 tries of almost 5 sec each along with acc.
It also happens at traffic signals randomly d.
Luckily it happened 3-4 times while i was at Kasturba road KTM SVC but as per them this behaviour is fine and sometimes bike needs accelerator along with starter for the same.
As per them bike is alright as most of the times it starts normally within 2 seconds.Has anybody faced the similar starter problem happening randomly or can anyone suggest me what may be the reason. i am planning to go to SVC this saturday and get it checked again.

OT: Guys, need help in buying good half fingered gloves for city rides. Has anybody been using one?, please share your exp with it and any other available options?
Also, please guide me to a shop where I can get one in Bangalore.

A lot of things such as clogged fuel injector, failing fuel pump, clogged fuel filter etc can cause starting issues but as your bike is pretty new, such things can be ruled out. Shims won't cause starting issues normally but can cause power loss and tappet noise while the engine is running.

You are feeling sad just because its the 4th time. You will feel much better as you get used to the SVC visits

Done only around 50 kms since I changed the tire. As per my usage, I did not felt any difference between Metz and Michelin. Probably that is my mind playing. But since I have been michelin user since many years, I can vouch for the good grip levels and especially how good they are on mixed tarmacs.

Half fingers gloves are useless if safety is what you are after.

I suggest you buy any of the protective short gloves.

Cramster flux is really good for daily riding, they have other models too.

From what I hear spartan offers best quality, Pegasus looks cool too. There are other retailers too..

Select full fingers gloves from any of these retailers, they offer real protection and look infinitely better too IMO.

Moreover, one thing that generally happens on tyre change is that the prev tyre would be close to end of its life thus offering very poor grip so on getting a new tyre, we automatically find it very good. If you have a chance to ride a 390 with Metz in good condition and then ride yours in same stretch of the road, that would be great

The ride feels smoother because michelins filter out more vibes compared to metzelers. This is possible because of the extra bump absorption scope provided by the bigger side walls.
