All bikes have jerkiness when the engine is cold because the air fuel mixture ignition is not at its optimum level.

Ravi in KTM Kasturba (Bangalore) is one of the few technically sound guys I know. Most of the svcs that have opened recently are just good for basic service and maintenance stuff. Hope the svcs dont go the Yamaha way.

No you got me wrong. I said lag (as if bike is running out of fuel or stalling). Jerkiness on a 375cc single is common.

I did have that lag before and the bike used to stall. That's when the fuel filter change resolved the issue.
But this seems different.
As for jerkiness of a 375cc single is concerned, it's mostly because of the fueling issues with the stock ecu.A powetronic Ecu fixes this. Even the RC390 is much better in this regard.

Anyone tried the RC handle bar grips on their Duke yet??
They are freaking soft soft!! Unable to find them anywhere here in Pune.

It's way too expensive at 9K INR just for an aesthetic part. Doesn't do anything to the performance. Sound advice: just get a spare rear mud guard and cut it with a hack saw( cost < 200 bucks). That's what I did on my D200.

Does the led light on the tail still work? What is the cost for the complete stock tail?
There is no better therapy than riding a bike down a straight road at full throttle with the sound of the engine for company.

No you would have to sacrifice the number plate LED. But since the number plate is just under the tail light it illuminates the number plate quite a bit. Cost should be less than ₹200 don't remember exactly.

I did check your diy in that thread, but I don't think that setup would be able to hold the no.plate properly, didn't you remove that yourself later? I know, 9k is surely too expensive for such a simple thing. I'm thinking about a diy too, but I don't wanna mess it up. Fingers crossed.
THE46FAN so, does the R&G tail tidy hold the led above the no. plates? or you have to remove those?

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle!
