Re: KTM Duke 390 - Owners Reviews and Experiences
If you want softer grips, get the ones from the pulsar 135.. according to the svc mech he said it was a direct fit for the d200 and cheaper alternative. (i had asked him if it was possible to fit the ninja's gripsOriginally posted by wallpapers123 View Post

Well that is not a happy story. However. i am a gentle rider too.. and trust me, I have enjoyed most of the rides with her.. except from the Traffic jams.. all rides have been enjoyable. No issues at all.. apart from very little seepage from one of the pipes and service center guys assured me to be nothing to be worried about and will be fixed in next service. Reading about your issues, looks like that your bike needs some diagnostics, I would suggest you to change your service center and try with some other.
This is a very good piece of machine, trust me. My bike infact runs better than the test ride one. Always starts in first crank in these cold mornings ( touchwood
)..
Get it fixed as soon as possible bro and enjoy the ride.If you have never done a mistake in your life, it means you have never tried anything new.

None of the SVCs here in Pune have the RC200's handle bar grips...

i use to read posts occasionally what i got as an idea that over 90% duke390 bikes have one problem or other. those people who do not have problem are not sharing their expirence with us. they might be enjoying their bike. is this idea correct?.vijay super-1981,vespa1984,herohonda1988,herohondasleek1989,su zuki shaolin1994,herohondacbz2000,suzukiferro2000,honda unicorn2004,kawasaki-bajaj eliminator2005,rtr1802010

Re: KTM Duke 390 - Owners Reviews and Experiences
Mechanical failures are inherent to all machines either on their own or by the way of intervention. There is no perfect bike out there buddy just like how there is no perfect human. The same applies to D390. Now come on, USS Columbia Space Shuttle built on a budget of millions of dollars didn't survive taking along with it the precious lives of 7 astronauts including our esteemed Kalpana Chawla and you know what happened to Titanic. We are here for the ride and D390 just happens to give us the ride of our lifetime. I may upgrade to a better bike or brand in future but I will always remember D390 as the one which gave me the hang of performance motorcycling.Originally posted by bhadoriabtp View Posti use to read posts occasionally what i got as an idea that over 90% duke390 bikes have one problem or other. those people who do not have problem are not sharing their expirence with us. they might be enjoying their bike. is this idea correct?.
Let's suit up and ride, shall we!

It looks like rear ending or at least brushing by another vehicle from behind. As far as I understand, this cannot be due to rear tyre or the tail section.Originally posted by Sine04 View PostAnyone else facing this?

No! No! It is indeed due to the tail brushing the tyre hugger!Originally posted by Akash.Yadav View PostIt looks like rear ending or at least brushing by another vehicle from behind. As far as I understand, this cannot be due to rear tyre or the tail section.
The shape of the tail is slightly more inward bent, when compared with my friend's bike. I dunno if my bike is an exception, or if its a norm.
And this is with just me and no passenger.

Same thing happens to the ns200
Its the rear fender rubbing the tyre hugger
