Only 10 % would have been B2B traffic. Rest normal city riding where I can easily cruise at 60-80. [emoji780]
I ride almost everyday in traffic with average speeds of about 40 with 2 500m stretches of b2b traffic. I'm getting around 25kmpl (25.28 to be exact). Have done some non-sedate (for the break in) highway rides and I got around 30 kmpl.

Will do some constant speed highway rides to check how much I can extract.

I'm very satisfied with the bike.

        Hope So.

In city or highway tours ?
I do city riding mostly. Not bumper to bumper...i agree it's valid..but, the riding sale should also be considered.. I don't normally push the bike hard... I try avoiding fast acceleration and braking...some basic stuff... Not because I can't, but to keep the ride quality...this helps...i guess

Oh and this too. I use engine braking as much as I can and throttling is always linear, never WOT. Also, I mostly never ride in 1st gear. 2nd gear pulls from low speeds without any clutch help.

I am getting 24kmpl in city and on highways, the max I was able to extract was 37kmpl. Avg highway runs return 32-34kmpl. I accelerate in a linear fashion usually. And I see to it that I accelerate only after the engine has reached minimum operating temperature(3-4 bars) Also when I start in the morning, I start n leave the bike on idle for 1-2mins, bcoz I have noticed the bike jerk and be sluggish to acceleration input if I ride immediately after a cold start. Also check for throttle grip slack, excessive play hampers intuitive based acceleration and results in jerking, stalling. Apart from this bad fuel quality and fuelling can also result in jerking/stalling.
Those who have recently bought it, remember, the torque availability on D390 is slightly higher in the powerband range, due to low torque at low rpms the bike may stall, tweak your riding style accordingly. Try throttle blipping with downshifting ( reduces stopping distance) when slowing down from high speeds but the margin for error in clutch modulation when blipping on D390 is very narrow.

            Ride hard, ride safe

Rocket club I still have to experience that, test rides are just a glimpse of true potential of the bike but some day on my own Duke will understand the term rocket club :P

City riding it gives me about 24 km/l b2b traffic console shows 20 km/l minimum it has shown is 19. If you want fe dont buy this bike

Tankpad prevents scratches from shirt buttons, belt buckles, etc

Same here. I also bought the bike and completed around 300kms. Low fuel like jerks are noticeably around 2-3 rpm. May be this should solve after first servicing.

Regarding noise on bumps. I assume its tyre hugger touching chain cover on bump. Same is being experienced by me.

& A regular fuel can be used. 90% use normal petrol. So no issues.

                          Once again congratulations. Ride Safe.

                          Guys I am bit worried.

Did a mileage check. Filled to thr brim. And rode around 150 kms. Again filled the fuel to the brim and noted the no. Of ltrs. Poured in. Dividing km/ltr of petrol gave me 20km/l .

Why do you want hazard lights in delhi? But anyway you can order it from spiraltech.in or ebay. I dont know the exact cost but it has some 32 combinations from what i hear. Check on the rc200 thread for more info

The bike will gradually smoothen out after piling kms and things will definitely smoothen out after the first service oil change from dtsi to motul
Regarding mileage I can squeeze out 260-270 kms easily reserve to reserve dont rely on console it shows mileage that you are getting in the last 800m or so. Only reliable during long rides. And bike can easily go another 40 km if ridden sanely while on reserve so thats about 300km from a 11l tank which is about 27 km/l. Thats good enough I guess. Always check mileage reserve to reserve. And according to me shouldnt you get better mileage during run-in cause of the limiter?

It's usually used when the bike's broken down and you put it on to let others see that you're in trouble. It makes all the indicators blink, just like in a car.

Or, you use it in group rides to let others know there's something not right. It's mainly used on the highways. Got nothing to do with places.
