Considering these are electronics, they could act up at times. So yeh, for some it could be console for other sensor, and the rest stator coil(there is a specific test for stator coil that I had quoted a few times earlier.. Taken from the workshop manual)
I had an issue on my d200 were the speedo reading used to go to zero randomly and the speed readings jumped around at times. A change of the speedo sensor (under warranty) resolved the issue for me.

Doesn't this deserve a detailed review of the overall experience till date. Would love to hear from you on this one.

        Keep her going.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
        The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

        THE END

Pretty happy with the ownership experience so far. No major hiccups.

Here's the ownership costs breakdown till now.

Would live to write up a long ownership experience, but too lazy to type nowadays

We call it Powerpig. Loves highways and mountains alike. Hates to live in urban jungle, still a daily commuter. Returns a decent 28-35 kmpl. Never raped, never crashed . Love cruising at 85 kmph, may be once or twice tried hitting top end.

Only concern so far was the faulty fan, which conked off twice and replaced under warranty (suspected to be swapped by SVC) as both incidents happened right after service and replaced with old fan right away (next time I am gonna put up name slip ). And a snapped clutch cable.

Celebrates second anniversary next month. Serviced in time, washed and cared like my son .

Some subtle visual and funtional mods. Runs on Michelins.

            Long review cut short

            (Powerpig+Duke 390 on Google = A full detailed ownership)

It's Fuelio Pro, been using for more than two years now.

App was taken over by Sygic sometime back and they made it free.

                Edit: Added Play store link.

At least wait till November to see the launch at Milan and then decide. Hopefully it will launch here by February and it's worth waiting.

It is going to be priced considerably higher if all the gizmos do make it to India.
Please do keep that in mind.

If it does come with ride by wire and riding modes, then it would be at least 50k costlier over the current model IMHO.

Riding modes are unlikely, and knowing what bajaj does with pricing.. i doubt it would be expensive by 50k. Probably 10-20k max.
Lets see if they can surprise me

                                1. I normally take it service once in every 5k kms.
                                2. Mileage would be okay (20 - 25kmpl) in City and good (28 to 30kmpl) in highways. Lesser the time you hold the clutch, more the mileage.

People may hate the 390 in traffic. But nobody will, if they find an open road
