Of late I'm facing a weird problem in my bike. At 7-7.5k rpm I'm hearing noise as if the engine is revved with the clutch pulled in. Has anyone else faced this?

What kind of sound are you hearing, could you be a little more specific, Ezil. At any RPM when you rev the engine with the clutch pulled in, you will hear the same engine revving sound. Are you hearing a buzzing sound when going beyond and above certain RPM or a small audio clip too would be helpful.

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

all these parts were replaced for Rs 400. but now after the work abs malfunction light comes up in between and when the ignition is turned off and on again it disappears. can it be sensor fault or something else?
I'm a responsible rider. It doesn't matter what you ride, but what matters is how you ride.

It can be as simple as a faulty error code in ECU that can be reset to a faulty ABS sensor. Faulty ABS sensor would almost always show up in the panel as a constant light. Your problem seems a little different, in that, it only appears for a brief moment. I would suggest you to take the bike to the service, check for error codes if any, reset them and then observe. Keep us posted.

Like when I'm just giving throttle and once the revs hit around 7k rpm, there is a sudden drop in the load to the engine and it revs unusually high with the noise that you hear when you rev it with the clutch pulled in (Note: I am not actually pulling the clutch in, I am just giving throttle). I'll try to get a video of it once I get my gopro.

I get the knack of it, one question I would like to ask is, how old are your clutch plates and how much has the bike clocked till now?

                Cheers!

I just did a clutch overhaul last week(the problem existed before this too). I have changed to slipper clutch now. Odo is 16.5k kms. It still persists.

I've got a little issue with my bike. Gears have become harder to engage, I mean earlier a slight push would be more than enough to change gears but off late I've got to use a little more force. As a result, Neutral is also harder to find now.

One thing I noticed it that while on the move, say above 50/60km, Its easier and smoother to change gears if I pull in the clutch lever to say 40% instead of 100%.

                    Any insights?

16.5k clutch overhaul, man that's a pretty low mileage, I hope by overhaul you mean, changing the clutch plates too. Do post a video of it, so we can get an idea of the what's really amiss. If you feel like the bike is overrevving post a certain RPM, considering the bike is moving during sudden throttle inputs, it's definitely a botched up clutch job or if we're hearing strange sounds, a clutch bell or bearing failure can be probable causes. Discretion advised.

                      Cheers!

                          Kerosene/diesel/pressure wash. All works fine.

Friends, Dont know its right place or not.

I am mostly a solo rider. Please guide me to some groups which do week end trips and breakfast rides(preferably people from XBHP).

I am basically from Masinagudi(Near OOTY) and in bangalore for almost 5 years and staying near BTM.

The clutch was changed recently(it existed before changing it), so I don't think the problem is with the clutch. Anyway, I'll let you know once I get a video.
