Yes,you need to make a additional hole to the baffle and it will be like "bigger the better".Like an oval one.The stock hole in the baffle is at a side and it is a short pipe and you should not alter this.
Yes,in the end-cap you have to put a new straight(as opposed to slanted in stock) end-pipe which has a dia of 26mm. The length it protrudes, into the silencer, will decide on back-pressure/flow velocity.Longer it is,more back-pressure/flow velocity will be more.Conversely,if this pipe is short and wide, then the beat will be loud, deep and also with less flow velocity. So you have to try different lengths and come to a length which suits your taste in terms of loudness/bass. What i've seen is,when the end-pipe is bigger than 26mm dia,it will become very loud and the bike will start missing in low revs, meaning carb will be needing re-jetting,as flow velocity will drop.So you would have to increase the flow by going for a free-flow air filter, which i did not want to do back then.Ofcourse this missing happened when the bend-pipe was the stock fiero's narrow one.I haven't altered the end-pipe since i changed the bend-pipe, to the current 32mm one. So 26mm end-pipe will be ideal with a 28.5mm bend-pipe or 32mm one.End-pipe should be narrower than the bend-pipe in order to increase the flow velocity.
Expansion chamber ends ,then after a gap,the baffle plate will be there and it will have small pipe. Then after another gap the end cap will be there, with it's end-pipe. Meaning, all these will have separate small pipes and they won't be connected.
