Fuel efficiency
When you purchase a bike with>200cc displacement ,you are not the one to be bothered about milege.but it is surprising that this bike is giving me 37-40kmpl.it is very good figure for a bike of this displacement.i have not taken the bike for long highway journeys yet but I can safely assume that the figures can easily turn around to 50kmpl.

Pros-Looks, refined engine, build quality, handling

Cons-no projector lamp ,little vibration at low RPM ,side plate on muffler gets loosened, no engine kill switch

The bike retails in Delhi for Rs114,210 on road price, and is very aggressively priced though it is equipped with the fuel injection system ,the bike severely lack some basic features like engine kill switch, and also ,had it been given a projector lamp it would be awesome and satisfying. Still in overall deal this is a pretty decent and justified purchase specially with a nice fuel economy, one can definitely buy this bike over R15 and cbr150r that have much lower displacement engine and plasticky bodies whereas this one has the right amount of bulk and rigidity to it which looks heavy and assuring.so here it is guys, my full review of the new zmr..now let me clear it up, for actually whom this bike is for, well the answer is anyone who wants a a good responsive machine with high displacement and good ergonomics and also is a an adrenaline junkie ,this bike will suit you well. it is made and tailored especially for that true wanderer inside us and will just urge you to give a little more throttle.Always game!Click image for larger version

Prateekjayant Awesome review buddy. Bike has got killer looks. I was certain of that from day one itself. Pata nahi logo ne kaise-kaise afwaah failaa diye about the front-end.

Now, only if I can get the fairing installed on my ZMR somehow !!

kmk0311 Regarding the mirrored visor, you get clear view if viewed from the top part of the visor! Otherwise, if its still uncomfortable for you, then you can change to clear ones.

thanks brother!the bike is just awesome and i am gtting 10-15 positive feedbacks daily from on goers and it just feels like the bike itself is a celebrity like today two random guys just started taking pictures of it and i was really happy to see that kind of response, and honestly i too was a bit skeptical for the looks but as soon as i saw it in person ,i was just mesmerized!!
and i think it may be possible to install the new fairing on the older as the frame is the same ,just some extra fasteners would be required, might be good fun to try though!

Yaar, what's the problem with hero guys..:banghead: jabardasti har new purchase ke sath phele yeh helmet sell out karte hai.

Infact tht helmet not even worth fir 200rs. Now they start selling this bike mud guard as a extra access.

Prateekjayant- A very nice and good review straight from the heart. Job well done. I especially like reviews like this that comes from owners rather than some channel or magazines because the owner gets to spend more time with bikes and he knows his bike more than anybody else.

And yes Hero quality is second to none and they make the best build quality. An you will be surprised to know that if time would had then you would not be but i would have been the first owner of the ZMR. The day after my brothers marriage when i returned to change the rings of piston, i had gone to check out the new ZMR. Bike looked smashing on person than on photos. So was quite tempted and more so after test riding it. Talked about exchanging my Extreme and they immediately agreed and sent a person to check out my extreme. But luck was that i hadn't taken the extreme but the Joy. So i politely refused and said that i will look into it. Bike looks so superbikish. Then they noted my details and when they came to know i was a officer in SBI they tried to agree me to get the new ZMR as they know that they have got a sure shot customer.

But i am reluctant to sell the extreme as it is running beautifully, much better than new bikes. But yours review is tempting me to go the the new ZMR. Moreover when i am looking at the new ZMR, on road i feel like immediately going for it. Lets see how much time my mind controls over heart.

its 475kms as of today ,and i feel that i have crossed the run in because the bike feels a lot smoother now as it was on day one,and i am getting an average of 38kmpl.

thanks for the kind words buddy and surely i understand your dilemma and you would find it interesting that initially i wasn't interested in the karizma at all and i was in love with the cbz xtreme and was certain to buy that one ,but the luck was not on my side and they went on and changed the looks of that one too! i was a big fan of the cbz xtreme aesthetics, i mean the bike can beat pulsar 150 or180 with just its looks and the robust body and mascular looks were just amazing, i fell in love with it the day i saw it ,but sadly the new model doesn't compare with the older one and simply looks like splendor so i went ahead and bought this zmr and iam really glad that i did that!

For the first 1000 kms take the bike slow.after that you can start to explore the bike.. Upshift at 4-4.5k l, With occasional bursts , not sudden but slow and steady.. Don't maintain a constant speed for more than two mins. Brake and downshift and accelerate again. You need to let the bike get used to the rpm range.. I'm sure you know the run in procedure very well still.. do change the oil at this moment. Along with the filter. You'd be surprised to see a lot of engine deposits btw
