    Shit!!! Are u serious?? Tappet sound?? Or the trouble that I am facing- rare sound.

    If ur problem is throught out the range, every single second ur bike's engine is on roll >> Rush to ASC asap! I got the tappets corrected long ago. This is a different issue as per the ASC guys. Even Ravi@17bhp didn't hear any tappet noise and I couldn't show the actual problem to Either Ravi anna or the ASC guys cos it's rare. So, just wanted to checkout with u guys

      Sewing machine noise = most prolly tappet noise. For older bikes, cam would need inspection. How is the mech adjusting tappets in your case? By visual inspection or with a gauge?

          No the sound only comes when picking up from higher gears not always and is like someone is striking the metal tank with a wooden stick rapidly

            That's not tappet noise, its engine knocking.
            1st ASC by visual inspection. During 2nd service, I changed the ASC and insisted the guy to recheck the tappets becos of this rare noise, he brought some set of rulers and measured it to declare that tappets are fine. He then told me that It must be the FI injection noise.

              In the long run, yes. Don't let revs fall in taller gears. Upshift post 4k RPM.

                      Yes thats the tappet noise get it rectified by the service center if they dont listen to you get it fixed in other service center. Even the road side mechanics are capable of doing all these things but since the bike is new get it rectified by the service center guys only.

                                At first congratz to @Venkat for his new "white fury"...<3 good luck na..

                                Then..,
                                Got an unusual revving problem in my ZMR today.. its only 50kms done
                                when we revv up the acceleration tends to hold to maximum and it takes more than usual to come back to the idle speed..
                                Riding up with this condition personally hurted me a lot... so, I made up some time with it
                                and i took it to the Authorised Service Center in nandhanam....
                                they actually handled the situation quite good.. they attended me with good care..
                                So, Coming to the problem..
                                it was a sensor malfunction.. the mechanic completely explained me the working of FI in zmr..
                                Friends You're not gonna believe this THERE ARE LOTS OF THINGS GOING UP IN THERE in that beautiful engine.... i was quite impressed by the way it works..<3
                                He explained me with utmost patience..
                                He did some alterations in the stepup motor and took out for a test ride and then he handled me my bike key....
                                I pressed the ignition and twisted the acceleration... man it was buttery smooth again... this is what i missed..
                                Then i took her to get the IND number plate in mandveli, NACHIYAPPA Number plate dealers..(near AIRTEL OFFICE)
                                It costed Rs:350.. and i personally fixed it for myself b'coz they said they won't fix it but they drilled the holes in the right place and gave it to me....
                                it is so adorable with this..
