I've already paid for it (during the time of booking my bike).. but after going on through some conversations heard that those tyre huggers were not actually looking great..
So,Im in a serious confusion whether to go for HERO's hugger or some others like P200's...??
Please somebody help me out coz.....it started raining again in chennai..
Ok. You look like you are confused. If you ask me. The huggers look bad in pics. Maybe they look good when u see it in person..

Besides. Doing a jugaad might turn out to look even worse and vice vers..

Hi guys...I happen to own the new ZMR... You can check out my review on **********.

Reg the tyre hugger, it doesnt look goos at all in flesh also, its not proportionate, i mean the distance between tyre and hugger is not constant and hence it looks like a misfit.

Yeah, The bike is awesome at speeds below 100, once it crosses the 100 mark there are a lot of vibrations in the handle bars and Foot pegs ,

I had gone for touring and wanted to test its top speed, the bike would do 130 plus i beleive but i got scared of the vibrations past the 125 mark and slowed down( it felt like at that speed all the nuts and bolts holding the motorcycle together would come off and it would dismantle itself....LOL).

thats a bit negative remark for a 1 L+ bike category...

Ha Ha....I guess all bikes have these vibrations at the Top end unless it has more than one cylinder...

We anyway dont drive at those speeds often...I can comfortably say that a speed of upto 120 is safe for cruising and doesnt have much vibrations, Anyone else faced the same issue here ...?

Not sure about the new Zmr and other Zmrs. My Black Pearl is smooth throughout except for vibrations from plastic at 2000 to 3000 rpm..

Which engine Oil are you using and how much has your bike done till now??

It has done around 3500 kms and i use the recommended Oil only(10w30 i guess)....

Even i had vibrations from the fairing and visor at around 3.5 to 4k rpm( i saw someone here with the new zmr also complain abt this), the guy at the SC then put some cushion like thing inbetween the panels , wrapped tape around some parts and now that problem is gone....

You can use tubes as well.. tubes as in rubber tubes from tire tube..

Your bike is still new and I am not sure if it is alright to use any other engine oil.

I have used so many brands and grades and finally settlwd with Gulf Pride 20W40.. one of the best oils i have used. My bike needs cylinder and piston replacement.. i was suggested to use 20W40 and after some research i decided to go with Gulf.. prior to this i was using Shell AX7 which again is one of the best i used but i feel Gulf is much better making the engine ultra smooth.. reducing the vibrations to almost nil at high speeds.. though i didnt ride above 110 kmph

Suggest any lubricant for zmr chain and for disc breaks. Because I wash my bike before 2 days now after two days some kind of sound comes from bike.I think its chain needs lubrication.... And when I use rear disc some kind of screaming sound comes out...

Lub for disk brake?? Whoever suggested you need to lube the disk must be trying to get you off the planet.
If brakes are squeal ing , clean up the pads , check if your disk has scoring marks.
Most of the time cleaning/ changing brake pads eliminates the squealing.
You're never lost if ya don't care where the road is headed

Check the rear disc pads. Replace it if needex
