I didn't like the position of front number plate so I put a sticker instead which looks better.

Cops have stopped me twice during regular checkup points, checked the papers and let me go. So, can we say It's legal? Cos hyderabad traffic police website talks about font size and font face and nothing about a plate to be mandatory

Ps: high security number plates are not mandatory in our state

Ok my baby got an OPEN HEART SURGERY

The sound which I was indicating earlier got worse, and acceleration dropped. mileage dropped by 7km/l to 30. lots of extra noise and vibration from the engine.
The mechanic's BULLSHIT reason: The fuel which I use has kerosine content -> lots of carbon deposit (which I couldn't see as A LOT) -> too much heat -> parts bent/disfigured. Advised me to change my regular fuel station (my regular since 4 years now... my passion was exposed to the same quality since 3.5 years... no issue)

Ravi@17bhp was there to guide me whenever I required help. Lot to learn from him about how to get things done from the ASC.

would post about the status after 500kms

Was there any oil leakage?? Any signs? What was the consition of the piston? Don't you have any pics??

badhiyaa review man,,,,,,,, bike certainly looks good,,,,with lots of displacement and horse powers ,,,,,, and what i thought it does have a projector headlamp initially,,,,,,,now the lack of it is a bit of disappointment indeed,,,,,also dont they have radiator in it,,,,, ??

Nope there's no radiator. Its air/oil cooled.

dude...for claiming those warranty did u fight with them or they simply agreed to do it in warranty...?

No oil leaks.
The engine used to sound very rough so I used to check for any extra heat but it was only and exactly one week before the problem I started feeling some heat. That's when I decided to have a check but had to wait until the long holiday week was over.

As told earlier it had tappet problem for two weeks and when It was corrected, it used to run like butter except that vey very rare once in two-three days irritating metal sound (The mechanic told me that it was the sound of crank shaft)

I think of this is the possible reason

The frequency of that sound increased gradually until recently when it stared affecting few other parts (I have no Idea why). This generated lot of heat and the piston valves and other parts were disfigured/ expanded etc.

I suspect manufacturing defect in the crank shaft. I started facing/noticing the tappet issue right from 2 weeks of the delivery. And this rare crank shaft noise must have muffled under the tappet noise. Once the tapptes got corrected, I started hearing this... which aggravated gradually taking 4 months of time before it gets to stage of repair.

sad to see this. Somehow I feel that hero is loosing the name of most reliable manufacturer after the split with honda? when it was hero honda, i never heard of anything like this in any of the bikes from spledour to zmr. it's time for hero to concentrate on quality.
