yesterday saw one funny mod. one guy just removed the ZMR '14 tail and fitted R15's tail and stop light assembly. looked ugly though, but still the idea of mod is appreciated

But at anytime the ZMR's projected tail looks better than most of the bikes.

He suggested me to do some modifications to 200ns hugger with the help of any mechanic and get it fixed.
Can you put a pic of other side of your wheel so that can see how he fixed it.
I am extremely sorry for the delay..

don't ask anything to the bajaj servicemen coz they are not familiar with this bike..

i just brought the same as stated in the bill and went to the service station...
      It costed ₹463

There are actually two ways to fix this hugger..
1)Is by welding the hugger's clamp directly to the bike..(I personally not suggest this one b'coz it doesn't look good and its hard to remove)
2)Is by fixing it using a plate (Please checkout.. the photos are below)

It couldn't be fixed directly so the mechanic just introduced a holding plate of three holes(you can see it from the photo that one hole at center is to tightened to the shock absorber and the left hole is to hold the clamp of the hugger right one is left free)...

Tank full to tank full method works for cars and it is quite accurate. But not for motorcycles. We only have 12-15L tanks. And most of the times the nozzle tuns off just after puttning in 8L or so. Ideally we are not supposed to fill in more fuel after that as we will risk spilling. The limit at which the nozzle turns off is dependent on the weather, how the nozzle is placed on the tank, and how quickly the fuel is flowing. Some guys shove it in. Others keep it at the top. There is no consistent way to do a tank full for a motorcycle. Therefore to calculate FE, it is much easier and more accurate to go by the Reserve to Reserve method. There is no assumption when we see the blinking. Reserve is a reserve and it is mostly consistent.

I think if their stuff is correct its better to watch in our mother tongue rather than watching it in a fake English accent .

Haven't watched it yet and will watch it soon.

Don't rely on the auto cut off. I fill till the brim on hitting reserve. Comes approx 12.5 to 12.8 litres every time. I repeat this at least 2 or 3 times and take the average. Reserve indicator can't be trusted because sometimes the variation is as high as 50 kms. Keep it on the side stand and you get 10 more kms at times.

Thats the same way i do it. I fil till the brim to get the average of my bike.. why auto cut off when we can fill upto the brim.. my tank full yesterday was done in 850/- at 64.24 per litre.. works out to 13.23 litres. Not exactly 850/- but 849.**

Bro, next time you do a tankfull, ride for a few tens of kilometres and open the flap covering the keyhole of the tank lid. Lemme know if you see petrol there. It's happening to me everytime i do a tankfull. Even in the morning before even moving the bike, i see petrol on the keyhole.

some days when I am on leave I don't ride the bike, hence I won't clean it. If it's left for a two days like that I see the dust+petrol combined grease like coating near the fuel tank lid across the periphery and it's wide enough. I hope it's natural
