Almost all bajaj bikes sound different after riding them continuously for more than 1.5 hrs may be because of heating or something else.Originally posted by emm View Postsigpic

Re: Hero Karizma ZMR (2014 version)
Yea... I saw one new 220 on road 2 days back. Immediately i noticed the change in engine sound. It sounded more refined than before, but the sporty exhaust note is gone. Now it sounds like honda engineOriginally posted by Giftonsamuel View PostYup.
Check the 220 ownership thread .
They have reduced the dia of exhaust .
Plus they comment the engine too be a lot smoother than before .Its better to sweat than bleed!! "AGATT "

because you have next generation pulsar, I know they are a lot better but still they lack refinement and they do vibrate which is again a problem for those who want to upgrade from honda or yamaha.Originally posted by Anuj_Gupta View PostMine didn't ,after 2.30 hours above 120 speeds without a break ,it sounded same as it did before tripsigpic

No indian manufacturer has a decent enough bike to serve someone who is desiring an upgrade from a foreign brand.Originally posted by Naveen1985 View Postbecause you have next generation pulsar, I know they are a lot better but still they lack refinement and they do vibrate which is again a problem for those who want to upgrade from honda or yamaha.

I didn't get you there. You meant, you didn't mind choosing ns over r15?Originally posted by Anuj_Gupta View PostUpgraded from my dads activa, my uncles splendor, and my cousins fz (used to ride them ) .and trust me ,this bike is a wish cone true .I didn't even thought once while handling over r15 v 2 to my brother for ns.
And btw, by indian manufacturer, i meant pure indian bikes. Ns is a derivative of ktm so rules out. Sorry for the confusion! But you see, what i meant was, if someone desires to upgrade from a foreign brand, there's no choice for him but to go for another foreign brand. Take fz for example. Going from an fz to cbr might be justifiable. But not the Indian brands. Why?
One: there are no options.
Two: ride quality and performance is not at par when you compare.
Thankfully, now that we have the hx and pulsar400 in the pipeline, things should change in the market..
Only time will tel. And hope that time comes soon.

In 2013 ,after searching for used bike ,got my older cousins blue r15v2 as my first bike (didn't even knew about existence of 200ns ) . It was only 1100km old.rode it for 3 months.
Then my brother (actually cousin) in family (we're a close big joint family) bought 200ns 3 months later than my purchase.
Came to know about this ns bike that day ,rode it at full potential (for few metres ) .was instantly sold to the performance. Also I like raw things ,r15 was way too much refined + practically useless in reaching 100 in single digit seconds .
Expressed my admire for ns .my cousin said he likes r15 v 2 . So we exchanged .
From that day ,I've been riding 200ns and sometimes I ride r15 too ,just to get a taste of its sitting position, nothing else .my cousin ,on the other side looks poser looks of r15 .
In short, I gave up r15v2 for 200ns.

Re: Hero Karizma ZMR (2014 version)
Well, its really nice to see people opting desi brands over foreign ones. It really does make a difference on the economy when a significant number of people follow the same!

Re: Hero Karizma ZMR (2014 version)
Guys I been following this thread since from New Hero Zmr launch. And myself owned new 2014,zmr. But I felt that this engine is very rough than older version. I rode old zma and zmr their is no match to its smoothness and high speed stable. When I was riding old version its give me impression that I am riding car on two wheels. But new one. resist to move like old version. I just completed 1800km. But yet to find zma character which old ones had in it. I red earlier in this post it has less vibes. But its not true. Its vibes like hell after post 4k rpm. Engine remain smooth till 4k band after that I feel like I am riding viberator. Isvc guys says it will be ok after 3rd service. I don't know whether they just throwing stones to escape. I tried to test its grunt in nice road but trust me I disappointed me. After 90kmph its screams like BAL P180 and viberates too. Is this is common with others here. Is any one crossed 5k km and 3rd service who can help me out. Or should I wait for 3rd service where they open up the motor and adjust the fuel sensor. I lost my mind and now I am thinking why I sold my old ones.Originally posted by Jackson Andrade View PostGuys I got it myself.

They are making fool..... Nothing happens after third service..... It remains same. Yesterday i have done my third service at 4700 kms. They did nothing except clean air filter and oil change....Originally posted by Jagadish Ramu View PostGuys I been following this thread since from New Hero Zmr launch. And myself owned new 2014,zmr. Thanks for your comments.
How about your machine how does it behave with you. is machine has same vibe and pick up issue. when i first time complained about pickup and vibes they said there is air leakage from motor vacuum and said its corrected in first service. but its same story my machine is still vibe more at pos 4k RPM. and throttle seems well respond to to twist between 2k ~ 3k RPM after that its little hesitate move around if i still push then it vibes and engine sound become very rough. is that quite common in all new ZMR. Also i noticed strange behavior of my machine some time throttle get jam and RPM struck at 4k~5k but SVC guys said cable was twisted and now it loosened. I dont know how true is that. i still some time face high RPM issue even engine come to halt. why i so tensed because all these issue i did faced in my shitty bajaj P180 and 200ns which never noticed such problem in my CBZ Xtreme and ZMA. which makes me to cry whenever i get a chance to put my hand old ZMA.
