Hi guys clutch plate, fuel pump replaced and injector cleaned ( they claim so ) but no improvement.
However to my goodness again Cam and piston gone. I was travelling from ORR to home and there was huge creenk sound from Engine head which scared me a moment ( as I got my pulsar ns got sized after such kind of noise from engine) turned off for while and on the key. The second I thumb the starter engine started making noise like grinder. Ooppps left bike again to SVC. I really fed up this time three svc over two months and 10 visits but improvement is zero. Any help. Anyone knows better svc in Bangalore who can understand the things properly

After hearing your problems have enquired some owners and svc for these problems, but no problem has en so far.

Do not waste time on these nincompoop SVC guys. Give complaint over heros website and also give a call and complain on its toll free number.

Your problems will be solved and even they will send their engineers to attend the problem.

HI sibun,

Did complaint twice to Hero Motocorp. And met engineers once at hero workshop program.
Those dumb fellows ask me to get change clutch plates. Did this and now cam shaft gone after second day of clutch plate replacement.

Yes no major problems from owners here in Bangalore too. But I got stuck with this defective product.

If i would have been there or you here then i could have personally looked at your bikes problem and tried to rectify it.

You can meet some experienced xbhpians in bangalore and find a good mechanic.

Are you willing to let go of the 5 year warranty by taking it to a private mechanic?
If yes, where in BLR are you put up?

problem arised in my friend's ZMR '14. the idling rpm is shooting to 4000. but once he engage gear and start riding, it behaves normal.

the problem comes only in neutral. just one service completed......!!!!

Throttle cable and accelerator cable B need looking into.

sure thanks. BTW aren't both the same...?

and so it is not an issue with throttle position sensor.?

Good catch. That was a typo. I meant the sensor and cable B.

. but seriously, the newer version is suffering from many issues. they have released it in hurry it seems. latest news i heard,they have kind of reduced production since they are working in many issues with ZMR and so the new xtreme sports delay launch..and this may be the reason for delay in HX.

Frankly speaking, issues were expected. It's the case with initial batches of most bikes. A products improves with time. Good for HX I say. HMC would get to learn the quirks of EBR engines and improve on them before launching big global products.

Hi Senior I don't care warranty.
Who wants to run everytime to svc and leave bike for week time.
Over the 4 months 10 visits almost 45days stored at svc. Currently bike given back to svc
And told them to replace entire engine mechanical parts and engine head assembly. Firstly he agreed to replace only cam and roller chain. But I gave call n shouted at hero zonal officer. Now they say they will completely replace them all and waiting for engine head assembly parts.

How much does the speedo cable cost? Its my friend's zmr and has been bitten off by a rat. I saw the wire being molded into the sensor, so i guess the whole set has to be purchased. Anybody having any idea what the cost maybe?

1450 for the rear cable set. 1600 odd for the front. These are old ZMR's quotes I got last year.
