Hero is going down. It will not stand against the competition. No1 motorcycle position will be taken by someone else if it behaves this way. It's more than a month now and still there's no sign of spare parts for the new karizmas. What are these people upto? The staff too give no positive replies.

Not only the new ZMR, it's the case for most models.

Since I refused Phoenix motors to vist them, the Regional Service head of Hero called me to know about the complaint. I asked him to tell me whether the parts mentioned in the invoice are same as of ZMR 2014. He called me back after sometime and told me to show my bike. He needs to check the part physically because he says that during invoice generation the system will not take parts related to other bikes.

Now my doubt is: can he just on that basis and without any other logic say that - if system is accepting, it should be the same part, only number is different?

This is only to save SVC. At least In my case its proved.
Secondly even if parts available they are lazy to order in first check. They make you visit twice and regular follow up.
And try to order only if they get clearance from zonal office

Once its billed it takes minimum week time to arrive. All in all it takes minimum 10days to get parts fixed.

You can help the fellow member @srikanth kvnap by asking for the exact part number for the components in the head assy for ZMR v2 with Southern Hero.
Then, we'd be able to see what has changed between the old bike and new (apart from the theoretical know how).

That way he'd be in a better position to cross verify the claims made by the Regional Service Head of HMC.

Had mailed to hero two days back and got a call from them yesterday. They said they'll bring the part within a week, else whenever it comes, they'll offer it free! Let us see...

Thanx Divya bhai and Jagdish. I already know that the part number is different. I had personally seen the e-catalogue in another ASC. But the Phoenix guys are saying that only part number is different and Physically/Geometrically the parts are same which is pure bluff. So, Jagdish if you can confirm about this before monday, It would really really help. I am going to meet the Regional Service Head to discuss the issue.

It's not fixed. It is an indicative figure. It ranges from 1.5 litres to 3 litres. Once you see the last bar, fill ASAP!

                                Well said Divya bro!

My friend and I were talking about mileage and (typical Indian conversation [emoji14] ) he mentioned that once the last bar stared blinking but he didn't fill up. I asked him why and he says he wanted to see what happens after the bike goes completely dry. He says after a while he heard strange noises coming from the fuel tank (like a scratching sound) and then he fueled up the bike immediately. I advised him never to do that again as it could damage the fuel pump and he must shell out 10k+ to get a new one!

He was like ok whatever. Uneducated guys like these end up doing something to their bike and then they blame the SVC or the manufacturer.

Is the fuel pump really not under warranty guys?

And thankfully he hasn't had too many problems with his ZMR. I guess he is just lucky. I just wish he was a little more responsible though.

                                Cheers! [emoji111]
