Not the speedo cable superman! The wiring set.
I gave prices for the full wiring assy front and rear.

Too costly. We'll just join/solder the two cut wires with extra ones. zimble!

Guys does anyone here hav vibration issues?@ speed 60 gear5 when i rev up its starts vibrating. My ri8 arm is like vibrating due to the handle.

Secondly which mobile oil shud i use for zmr 2014? I am abt to get my second service done nd i hv heard tht some engine mesh accumulates so u need to change oil often.

Please help me with the 2 quieries. Thank u

Yes. Surprisingly new ZMR has more vibes than the old ones. There is a prominent resonance between 3500 RPM to 5000 RPM. Just ensure that all the fairing bolts are just tight, not loose or over tightened.

Lots of owners have moved to 10w40 grade oils.

I think the s/v center guy asked me to get 10w30 if i m nt wrong. So wat diffrence does it make by 10w40. And which oil should i use castrol or motul or ...?

One more thing during my first service the guy at s/v center asked me to use hero oil. Dnt think its good. But he said my warrnty wud go void if i dnt use tht oil. He also said it imp to use this oil becoz of the new engine mesh thing.

Yes. Company recommended is 10w30. If Svc comes to know that you've put some other grade, they'll make noise. Get the oil changed from outside.
Avoid Castrol. Lots of fake bottles on sale.

They don't have stock of spares for the old ZMRs.. so I doubt they have spares for new ZMRs..

Avoid motul and castrol. AFAIK, motul hasn't been good to Karizma engines.. try the Shell AX7

Shell AX7 is 10W40.. you can also opt for Gulf pride 4T plus 20W40.. I have used both and I started using Gulf as I am forced to use thicker grade oil..

both the oil are perfect for ZMR engines. but you are bound to void warranty by using any oil other than Hero 10W30 so think twice before you take the decision

Senior I think the old ones doesn't had any vibe issue I personally owned ZMA and driven friends ZMR it was so refined and smooth.
The new version tend to vibe from foot peg to handle bars. Yes this was post 4000RPM. I doubt hero R&D have not done any serious test and ignored this.
They just thought changing cam shaft piston would only increase the power nothing else and launched it with few warm up rounds. Look at Bajaj they took years time to launch 200ss and did so many test which we seen on internet. I think its a lesson to Hero what if they do not cautious and release bikes without proper test.

Coming to Dhaval,

Bro you got the same issue which I still face. Get your bike checked thoroughly.
I replaced cam shaft and clutch pates once and now bike still at svc for same cam shaft reason.

I complained on hero website 3 weeks ago, for the old cam shaft and piston they put on my bike - No response.

Made a complaint today morning and got a call from Phoenix motors in afternoon requesting me to come down to the showroom to talk to the Manager. I said I had already spoken to the manager already and got no positive response to which he asked me to talk to the MD of Phoenix. I politely refused stating that I have lost trust in Phoenix motors and I would want to talk to a guy from HMC before going to the showroom.
