Will it help me get rid of yellowish tint?

Frequent high speed burst and sudden braking is not my riding style - so the damage won't happen , and in term of my karizma maintenance I do this :-

Servicing at every 5000 KM
1. Engine oil change - Motul 10w40 FS 7100 - always the best in my bike - nothing suits better than this.



Will you follow my suggestion. Use veedol 10 w 40 swift. PPerformance of synthetic oil at half price. Drain at 3k kms. Once use and let me know.




2. Spark plug change.

Although its not over doing but you are wasting resources. Usually 10 k is also quick. Spark plug can last 15-18k easily. But 12k is good.


3. Air filter change.



At 8k is more apt. If its viscous filter its 6k.




4. Disk brake pads change - OEM.

SSeriously but why? Overdoing a thing doesn't mean I am good at it. Why change when not worn.


5. Drive chain check .

Its good.


6. Battery clean , charge up , and terminal lube.

No need of charging. Charging on outside charger decreases life of battery.
7. Front and rear axle grease - Motul grease .
Good. But not needed. The bearing is tightly fit over it and thus bearing doesn't slide over it.


Servicing at every Month
1. Drive chain lube and clean and tight .

And still after 10,003 KM - no problem in the terms of - start up and mileage . Loving it.

How come your fairing turned yellow !!!! from white to yellow - wow - i should have bought white and without paying a dime my bike will turn yellow - just joking - but have not you wax your bike at every year ?

Wow the sun rays are so bad that it changed the color ?

OK so do we have a majority opinion on what oil is best for zmr?
Also I don't understand the difference between synthetic oil and semi synthetic, if someone could throw some light on that.
And I get my oil changed at aprx 2500 to 3000km is that good? Bad? Over enthusiastic?

Thank you for getting understood , and also thank you for choosing Motul over other brands , but I have one question in my mind - Why are you choosing 10w30 5100 instead of 10w40 7100 ?

And secondly do not ask the SVC to put Motul in your machine - because they won't have it , and in some cases if you force them them will partially throw away the old oil - simply if you know how to change the oil then DIY or go to any local mechanic and he will do it -haven't you saw the words in my previous post - that one of the mechanic of hero told me never to come to any svc of hero . Now its your decision .

OK I got your idea about using 10w30 over 40 - but it might not be helpful for your bike , and secondly every hero bikes and scooter are said to be used 10w30 - now let us use our common sense -- in case of scooter and 125 cc category - using 10w30 is ok as this machines are not build for speed (except KTM duke 125) but above 125 cc - 150 , 200 , 223 , 300 etc - all are required to use 10w40/10w50(pulsar) because using this category oil your bike internal temp will remain under control and also your engine won't feel rough in traffic to traffic condition - and using 10w40 is a all round oil for all the year , it is my request to use 10w40 as earlier in the past the original manual of Karizma 2003 endition - premium sports supports the 20w40 grade and in the year round of cosmetic change and increase of power of karizma engine the internal have remained the same - so going by the past formation using 20w40 or for better cold start 10w40 is recommended instead of 10w30 , its your wish - if you want to run your machine for about 1 lac or more KM then use the 10w40 but if you have in your mind like using the bike only for couple of years then go by you choice.

This is urgent - i washed my bike today but found water beside thefuel drainage hole . The water was not passi g by the drain hole . It is clogged . How to unclogged it . Karizma r 2015 model.
