Sounds like you are getting offended.. How are you so sure he was calling you a show off? AFAIK, anyone not using a RVM in the intended way is a Show off.. I have seen people use RVMs facing their tummy ( I have no idea why and i Heard that was some trend) and then people remove RVMs thinking it spoils their image.. as what people tend to see is, people who use RVMs are seen as idiots who don't know how to drive a car or ride a bike.. Again this is called show off.. I feel DS was being Generic and not specific to you

Edit - So you mean to say, your bike never came with RVMs??

Your response has certainly changed with time.
I asked you the same here - http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/motorcyc...ml#post1217819

You replied something else then. That response is deleted but I can still see them. You said - it causes issues in traffic and used to get scratched. Hence you removed them away.

Ok, let's chuck it. Since you want to get a pair of RVMs, head to Honda ASC. Ask them for CBR 150R or 250R RVMs. They both have compatible RVMs which are a direct fit. They are longer by 7 mm on each side. Else, if you're free you can ride to Bhubaneshwar/Cuttack during a weekend and get RVMs from Hero. Spares are available off the shelf.

Why disc pads was changed so early? At 5.5k kms it's too soon to change it.

He mentioned it a couple of pages back. Sounds like OCD to me. My pads last more than 20k km and I ride the same way as he does/says!

                    ----consecutive posts auto-merged-----

Reverting back to Motul 10w30 - reason I missed the pick-up and top speed of my bike .

Previously my machine used to have this speed , and I want the speed back :-

                    1st gear - 30 kmph. - (now - same)
                    2nd gear - 60 kmph. - (now - same)
                    3rd gear - 80 kmph. - (now - same)
                    4th gear - 110 kmph. - (now - 100)
                    5th gear - 130kmph. - (now - 120)

There is a speed drop in last two gears and also 3kmpl mileage drop (tough I don't care about it) - so have to revert back to 10w30 5100 - SS - will be using for about 2000-2500KM.

Yes why not , but chances are the showroom in Mumbai will have more ZMR and not the R ! - but you have to order the Karizma R 2014/15 edition and they will supply it , that happened in my case - I wanted the Yellow and they did not have that colour in WB so they ordered it and within 1 week I got the call and bought it . Any other ques ?

                          Noticed for the first time

Was riding during a windy highway - I felt wind blast around 115-120 kmph - Is it normal for karizma ? gave for inspection about steering and ball bearings - but did not found any problem - steering alingment was correct - looked for suspension - but that too is ok - cone set is ok too - then also why the bike felt like wobbling (like when the wind was fastly blowing at the right direction - the bike too moved slightly to the right , but during normal riding - there no such problem) the bike is 154 kg then also the bike wobbled during the fast blowing of the wind ??

                          Need some help / suggestion

High speed crosswinds affect faired bikes more than the naked ones, and at those speeds your bike was as already pretty light, so I guess what you faced was pretty normal.
