I need a clear visor for my ls2 bro.. Mercury visor is useless when riding in the night. Also the retention system is haywire. Can't change the lids so easily.. Btw you own a sparx helmet only right? When the hell did you get a shoei?Originally posted by jack_daniels View Post
kmk0311 Regarding the mirrored visor, you get clear view if viewed from the top part of the visor! Otherwise, if its still uncomfortable for you, then you can change to clear ones.

Ya, I own a SparX lid only. & I was talking about the night-view itself. When you see from the top part of the visor, you get a clear view at night. The mirror coating is only at the bottom half. Its like that at least in my SparX visor. Dunno about LS2 visors. Must be same though. Here goes the foto once again.!Originally posted by kmk0311 View PostI need a clear visor for my ls2 bro.. Most of the existing posts have been moved there already. 2-3 members posts aren't moving there for some reason.

I am hoping you didn't read my post which I quoted earlierOriginally posted by dineshaugustin View Postis it because of the increase in power...??!!!
if iam not wrong the reduction in weight should increase the punch as well..!!

the power drift says the top end is not that good...!!!! though riding in between 90-100 kmph is pleasure.
is it the same with the old ZMR???
My Black Pearl topped to 131 kmph (full stock) and when I changed the rear sprocket to P220's 36 Teeth, my bike topped 134 kmph..
the 131 kmph was on this ride I went to Coimbatore.. had i changed the rear sprocket to P220's 36 Teeth, it would have been 136 kmph or 137 kmph.. and note, the tank was full and I had a pretty heavy luggage and extra tools in my other back which i was wearing on my back

Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
BTW, somebody please confirm if the new engine oil grade is 10W40. Last year, I had a mighty email fight with the legal head and the consulting wing. They told me that my oil grade suggestion will be forwarded to the team working with EBR. I am sceptical and hopeful at the same time.
rreneav1987. Last November, on my way back from a short ride to Malshej Ghat, I topped 135 on the odo on a flat road. I could, however, maintain the speed for only about 100 metres or so, not more. The last time I had reached closer to such speeds was on my .40 bored out CI 350 with bronze valve guides. It was fun, but truly speaking, I would put greater trust on my ZMR any day.Current: Hero Karizma ZMR || Royal Enfield Bullet CI

with Tank Full and with heavy luggage.. i weigh 72 kgs by the way
No doubt, I trust my Black pearl..
else I would have never taken such a risk riding all the way to the south and way back to north
besides, in all the big cities like Hyderabad and Bangalore, i know people who will come help me if I needed so the only risk I had to take was upto Hyd and then back from hyd to New Delhi... My Black Pearl didn't ditch me
I had to fill the tank every time the tank showed upto half.. I didn't want to take risk as I was doing SoloSplendor - 2k to 2006

Woopsie.. I never calculated the weight of the boots and other accessoriesOriginally posted by RaajD View PostI weigh 100 (clothes, boots, accessories..... extra)
wow.. 135 on a stock bike or what? Surprising
and if you did sprocket mod, then I guess your bike will touch 140 kmph
I wish I can fit a Pulsar Speedometer on my bike
to show my bike can touch 140s easily
P.S. Never do this home
got a bit carried away after watching stunts video of R25 where they mentioned don't try this at home.. which idiot will ride his bike inside his house??

Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
Yup, on a stock setup. It was on a day-old Shell AX7. Not exactly a speed-freak, but a four-wheeler was trying to overtake from the wrong side. I had no choice but to speed-up.Originally posted by rreneav1987 View PostWoopsie.. I never calculated the weight of the boots and other accessories

More than a year ago, I converted my Bull into a test-platform for trying out my insanity-laced modifications. But then, to commute and to go on long rides, I wanted a bike that matched the long-stroke engine. ZMR was the only one in the market (in the price range of course) that could leave me with a grin. I am more than happy I made this choice!!Current: Hero Karizma ZMR || Royal Enfield Bullet CI

you didn't feel any difference in the performance.?Originally posted by RaajD View PostYup, on a stock setup. It was on a day-old Shell AX7.
i used the same oil in my HUNK and i lost the punch it used to give, also post 60kmph, the bike was trying very hard. but after changing to stock, my bike is very freely revving.
plz throw some lights.
