Any way here are some screenshots from that video. Quality of shots is low as those are extracted from that low quality video but angles are worth uploading.

this is the best front view of ZMR. Between the guy who is riding R is funny. looks small for this bike....!

one thing ii noticed is the ZMR looks much bigger in videos than in photos...this explains the immense road presence...!!!

Only fuel tank and front tire look thin in comparison to rest of the bike but overall it looks huge for its price...

Is it just me or anyone else felt that the motorbeam shootout was more concentrated on bajaj than hero??

and i have felt the same with another shootout they did with newly launched discover 150 with other commuter segments. More concentration was on bajaj. With this shootout it was little bit understandable with the concentration more on discover 150 as it is the newly launched product.

But, the same has happened with the shootout between ZMR, 200NS and R15, with more talking on bajaj and R15 and very less talking about the ZMR. No offense on any particular bike. All three are wonderful machines. But just felt a bias on the shootout review.

normally magazines and internet reviews will be biased towards Yamaha and bajaj. thats what they are paid for. since my bro working in automobile industry i came to know this.

Hero is the most pity of all.

Did you notice they kept saying Honda Engine and Japs? lol

People hate Hero and they don't realize the pain they went through because of Honda.. Honda understood the Indian market because of Hero and they never allowed Hero to do any RnD.. people will not agree to this but this is the fact..

Well, coming to the biased! seems legit to me.. it is always bajaj at the top

^ ^ hero is pity indeed.

Last week took a test drive of ZMR and it was awesome. Rode it in nadanam(one of the most congested junction in chennai) at 6 in the evening and i faced no issues to maneuver the bike around, the steering is very light, didnt feel it as being a big faired bike at all. Got a small empty stretch just after the signal turned green and the engine and gearbox were super smooth. The seating position and seats are very much comfortable. the tall wind shield will be very useful while touring on highways.

While retuirning i asked the sales guy to drive and i took the pillion seat. The seat was comfortable and has generous space as well. But i found the seat to be bit tall. With the rider stance in the front being bent forward and the seat height, my head(at least my eye sight) was above the rider and i was able to see the road in full. Now that made me think about the situation of pillion.

Will this tall seating be an issue for the pillion during touring. I know this is the case with all new motorcycles having split seats. But, has anyone sat as a pillion for touring in similar bikes. What is your experience. Because, i havent personally sat as a pillion while going long distances.

I have never had a pillion when touring.. maybe after my marriage I will.. BTW, I have an Old karizma ZMR 2010..

Nandanam was always highly congested and now with the metro work going on, I am quite sure the situation.. I will go for another test ride of the ZMR probably today when I get time to go and check on Divya Sharan's request for few spare parts..

the last time I had a test ride, the bike was new and had done only 1 km.. fresh engine doesn't give its best.. I want to try Prateekjayant's zmr when we meet up as it would have completed atleast 1000 kms by then..

most buyers are confused as they don't know which category they fall under.. if they are commuter, they should opt for the P200NS.. if they want relaxed and comfortable highway rider, they should go for Karizma twins and if you are more into tracks, R15 is for you.. The fact is, people don't know what they want and they ask others for suggestion.. people from different category suggest the one they find comfortable..

You have the answer to your question on the missing monoshock on the Karizma twins.. its the chassis issue.. besides.. I don't think it is worth spending more RnD on a well proven chassis when they are going to introduce the HX250R in the market.. this does seem logically correct from my point of view.. why would I spend more money with extra RnD on a product which is already doing good in the market.. as in, the chassis of the Karizma is doing good without any niggles.. I wouldn't spend more money doing RnD to fit the Mono shocks especially when i am about to launch a quarter liter sports bike in the coming months.. doesn't it sound practical?
This is what i was looking for..i travel mostly on highways...need a zmr!

sure brother you are welcome any day to test ride my zmr as i want expert opinion on it and as far as the pillion ride quality is concerned i think its quite good ,me and my friends are always riding on my zmr and neither them or me face any trouble riding on the back seat as it is quite large and accommodating and comfy, even there is quite some room for three people also.and i feel on the highway it was good also but there is one issue that when pillion is riding with you ,his whole weight is sliding on you as seat is a little inclined and no matter how hard you try to sit straight but you will end up putting your weight on the rider which is quite stressful on the hands on the rider and its a bit discomforting especially in traffic when you are constantly braking ,but i think that wont be a big issue riding on highways..

whether the showroom guy is sitting behind you..?? if so then the real performance cannot be know exactly.

you can try vishnu motors, there i hear you would be given independently.

That is the reason I got my Black Pearl but there is a long story behind it if you find the ownership review of ZMR, you will know the story on how I got my bike..

Get better seat covers with good grip.. that would solve the problem for few months till the grip wears off.. I find this issue on Hunk too.. but the seat cover plays a vital role..

yes reneav, it is located near kasi theater, thats where i got my HUNK. i have seen one guy riding karizma alone and then he handed over to the showroom guy..!!

between if you are going to test ride in chennai i would suggest om motors in poonamalle. it is located near highway and hence we can twist a lot.
