Headlights, tank and below tank the air vents all seems loose. You suggested Anurag Motor's. You think it will be helpful. Hope the issue gets solved. Thank you very much for your inputs I will surely ask them to check it.[/QUOTE] --->ya go ahead give them a try...I did not have any problems with them so far...

Thanks bro. Hope the engine sound specially get better. Not as silent as in beginning. Going this Saturday. Will update you. And even tell all the points you suggested. Have you by any chance asked them that engine noise has increased or something(Did they help). Sorry for too many questions bro.

Thanks everyone for helping me with my issues.

Hey Guys, just a quick help needed from anyone of the FZ V2 owners out here.

Can someone please advice how many turns is the idling screw adjusted at for anyone of your bikes so that i can adjust it as well for my bike.
I am having a lot of issues with bike switching off automatically due to low idling. the idling screw is located on the left hand side of the engine and its golden brown in colour shown in the below picture. ok here is a tip which will ensure that you do not change your idling measurement too: Please make a measurement of the no. of turns the screw turns clockwise until it reaches an end point where it does not turn clockwise any more. Once the number of turns is noted ( example like 2.5 etc) , please turn back the same amount anti clockwise and your idling will be back to where it was set to. Please let me know how many turns i need to turn anticlockwise from the end point and help me adjusting the idling , since going to the service centre is a waste of time as they are the ones who spoilt it and asking them to look into is only going to spoil it even further. Thanks everyone.

            • Mileage Booster on FZ - S

              Hello guys,

I own an FZ-S and have been using it for a year, regularly servicing and changing oil ever 3-4 months

Mileage now has come down to 30kmpl.
I have gone through most threads and will be following the advice given there.

              A couple more queries..

              1. How often should you change the oil?
              2. Which oil should be used after 6,000 kms and 1 year of driving?

              And lastly,
Here's a quick question on the mileage booster HHO kit that I just found posted by someone. It seems legit.

Will you guys recommend this? Has anyone tried this yet?

It happened just a minute ago. I washed my bike and was giving race on neutral. I raced till 8k rpms and I noticed there was some white smoke coming out from engine. But it didn't happen when I stopped the Engine and done the same again. What could be it? . Really worried

not daily...I usually clean & lube my chain once every 1000 km in summer/dry conditions and every 500 km in rainy/very dirty conditions. there are lot of DIY instructions available on internet follow any one of them. also be very careful if you choose to do chain lubing by yourself, as many have lost their fingers due to negligence/bad luck. I follow proper water wash of chain, then I use WD-40 as little as possible as too much of this dries up the lube in chain links eventually leads to reduced chain life(water displacement-40, this is not a lube but just a liquid to remove water from chain as its name suggests and prevents corrosion/rust formation on chain). let it dry up for half an hour and then I use motul road chain lube (use any chain lube available to you) and concentrate more on lubing the links. this also needs to be used in little quantity (max 2-3 coats) as too much lube increases the chances of attracting more dirt and reduces chain life.
