    guys anybody here has got fi cleaned......my odo right now is near 6000ks and manual suggests fi cleaning at 6500ks....svc mechanic suggested against it as their is no need of such so early.....any body gone past 6500k could help here

      Edit :- I have opted for the extended 5 year warranty.
      Accessories installed:
      1) Leg guard.
      2) High quality seat cover.

      I also want to know whether changing the stock horn will void my warranty?

          Extended warranty is same as the warranty received with the bike. The name says it all, the warranty is extended for couple of years with 10xx-20xx rupees. Personal opinion, go get the extended warranty and ride with peace of mind for 5 years.

            Definitely, kudos to Yamaha for the paint quality.
            About the extended warranty, I get 2 + 3 years extra warranty coverage and also one alternate service free from Yamaha after 10th service (I think). Lots of engine parts are covered in it, hence opted for it.

                I paid an amount of Rs. 777 at the time of purchase of the vehicle. The free alternate services are 6th, 9th, 12th and 15th coupons provided in the booklet.

                    I think [I am not sure], there will be couple of wires connected to clutch lever. Check whether it came loose. I once had this problem in my brother's Impulse and this was the problem. Problem solved once connected properly. Also check/service the battery at any battery shop.

                      Hello guys, I wanted to know the fuel efficiency you guys getting?
                      I am in the run-in period and I am only getting 35kmpl, very low for me. I shift early and the bike driven in city itself with moderate traffic.

                                Yamaha Fazer fi v2.0 - YES or NO ??

                                I am planning to upgrade to a 150cc bike (2nd bike) and shortlisted the Fazer fi v2.0. I am an existing owner of Yamaha Gladiator(125cc)

                                Reason for choosing it -
                                1. Its a YAMAHA.
                                2. Its fuel injected. I don't want struggle on my trips to hill stations. (experienced previously)
                                3. Wind protection due to semi fairing. (better on highways)
                                4. Mid range is punchy. Easy going...not too many shift are needed.
                                5. Extremely refined. I am a die hard fan of refinement cause I do long distance touring.
                                6. I love the way it looks.
                                7. Decent fuel efficiency.
                                8. Costs 1 lakh INR on road.
                                9. Comfortable sitting position. (Not sporty like R15)

                                Please throw your thoughts on this. Point out the negatives of this bike. Also point out positives if you can.
