I don't know about you guys, but I never felt confident with a pulsar's handling. The FZS handles well and corners smoothly.

Re: Yamaha FZ16 version 2.0
I tried the 200NS once for a 80km ride. It was damn uncomfortable for me. But I have been seeing people loving the NS. One of my friend bought it 3 days agoOriginally posted by Vaisakh2778 View PostThats true except for the new gen pulsars (ns/as/rs)

You changed from r15 v2 to fz fi??Originally posted by yamaboy View PostPs-don't start a fan war, I'm a ex R15v2 owner
Reason?[/QUOTE]
I had r15v2 ,as my first bike.it was awesome, but after 1-2 weeks, I was tired of its nature taking too long to accelerate.
Then my cousin bought Ns, when I rode it, it felt like I was missing a lot of things, and looks only matter when you are not on bike (r15 IS a beautiful bike) .
So I exchanged r15 with his Ns, as he was more of a Poster boy,and I discovered myself to be a adrenaline chap.
Year later, bought a Rc200 ,but Its position + lot of efforts to watch out for potholes while riding made me sick. So Rc just stands in garage with only 2-3 outings. And now I've totally left it. My brother rides it.
Having busted 4 froby shockers in 2 years would tell how I ride and why r15 or rc won't suit Me.
Now eyeing for 400cs.
And about stressed engines of pulsars? ? Ehh dude have you tried new Ns/Rs ones. .?
Plus it's better to have your fingers rattle at 140kmhr then to curse your bike when it can't go above 110-120 and that too in a long considerable amount of time.
Every bike is perfect in its own sense, if I had to buy one for my father, I won't buy a pulsar, but a Fz.
Cheers

Uncle type was just a notion buddy.don't take it too seriously.Originally posted by Vaisakh2778 View PostR15 uncle type bike [emoji23]
Which uncle will ride a track focused bike ??
Yes R15 has best chassis, handling and posture to put shame to even litre bikes, but it lacks acceleration. You can corner well, but when you'll exit a corner and will need to go with all horses unleashed, you will find yourself at the last.
Care to try mine. .? You'll be amazed.Originally posted by nomad47 View PostI don't know about you guys, but I never felt confident with a pulsar's handling. The FZS handles well and corners smoothly.
There are lot of things that it was uncomfortable to you, major being the saddle height, it's totally worthless if you are not at least 5'8' to enjoy Ns ,as I've seen.Originally posted by nomad47 View PostI tried the 200NS once for a 80km ride. Enough about Ns.
Get back to Fz.
Both are great bikes in their own sense.

I usually ride to my nearby city that's approx 40km away. And the ride on the NS was literally a PITA. Accelerates damn well, but smoothness is not a characteristic of that machine.Originally posted by Anuj_Gupta View Post

Never had a complain with the FZS regarding smoothness and ride stability. But yeah, this machine lacks acceleration. Would have been nice if there was a little more power. In the end it boils down to one's personal choice. I, never ride above 70. So FZS is the perfect travel companion for me. But for someone seeking thrill of speed and crazy pick ups, FZS is not the way to go.

That is the essence of my posts here which people fail to understand and take it as an insult to their bikes.Originally posted by nomad47 View PostI usually ride to my nearby city that's approx 40km away. Re: Yamaha FZ16 version 2.0
I discussed the disc brakes issue earlier. I gave my bike for a pressure wash and the sound from the disc brakes vanquished. Now, after a week, the same sound is back. That same sound also comes when I just move my bike, with the engine off. This is really pissing me off now.
Any idea what could be it????
