What other two wheelers do you own?
In some countries service-manuals are shared without any concern, more liberal laws perhaps. We may to wait for gixxer to enter such countries.
A simple internet search gave me parts-catalogue:

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Paid the amount in full. The price was Rs. 89,570 and it goes to RTO on Friday and I would probably take it home on Friday evening or Saturday morning. As for the crash guard, they are telling me a price of Rs. 750. They have two types of guards: one is the single bar crash guard and another one is the butterfly type. Which one would be good in your opinion, guys? And is one thing better than the other or do they both offer the same level of protection in case of a crash?

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Hello Folks,
The tyres of my gixxer are posing a problem here. When filled with recommended air pressure i.e F-29 Psi & R- 33 Psi.....it goes back to 20 Psi on both tyres after a day.
Can't find any leakages or pins/splinters anywhere. What is the solution for this? Could it be resolved after refitting them on the rims by Svc guys?

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Had a somewhat similar issue with my NS's front tubeless. The air usually leaked out completely, unlike the partial leakage of yours. But the leakage duration wasnt the same everytime. Sometimes it leaked out on the same day and sometimes after a week. Got it checked for punctures or any other fault from the local shop but in vain. Took to the svc and the mechanic diagnosed a bent rim. Have know idea how that happened. Got the alloy changed and no issues since then. Yours could be a similar case. Hope it helps. Good luckOriginally posted by tutul278 View PostHello Folks,

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Couldn't notice bent rims. Bent rims should have showed wobbles while riding. but that's not the case. Totally perplexed....will check with SvcOriginally posted by devils_friend View PostBent rim by any chance?

If this is the case. will this be covered under warranty?Originally posted by sharadh View PostHad a somewhat similar issue with my NS's front tubeless. Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
My bike had no wobble or any other handling issues as a matter of fact even though the rim was bent. Tubeless tires are really sensitive and even a tiny gap between the rim and the tyre wall will cause leakage.Originally posted by tutul278 View PostCouldn't notice bent rims. Mine had crossed the warranty period anyhow so had to pay for it. You can call up the svc and ask them about it. You know how these people are. They are after your money. They will give one excuse or another and make you pay for it. So better confirm with them before you finalise your decision.Last edited by sharadh; 03-17-2016, 12:18 AM.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Any update about this... Problem still persist but seems a little better I guessOriginally posted by arehman1507 View PostHey guys.. Gave my bike for 3rd service.. Just regular oil change and chain clean and lube.. Asked the manager for details on which oil was used and he showed me some Suzuki oil bottle.. On the back it had some castrol branding.. Thing is it was rated at 20w40.. Asked the manager about it and he was like this is the new oil recommended by Suzuki.
Now the problem is that I'm facing real performance issues as the bike doesn't want to accelerate anymore and even fully opening the throttle makes the revs rise up slowly and the engine feels like it's dying.. Is this due to the oil or is there any other problem with the bike?

ODO since last service?Originally posted by arehman1507 View PostAny update about this... Problem still persist but seems a little better I guess
ODO since last oil change? i.e. Castrol 20w40
How's the condition of Air-Filter? When was it cleaned?
share a clear photo of spark-plug, after a plug-chop.
here is one rider doing it
Another one trying to explain it:First plug chop on 1990 Yamaha Blaster after a fresh rebuild, new crank, and full FMF exhaust system. Plug chop is with a 270 main jet. It is running lean now, I put a 290 in and will do another plug chop soon!

Re: Crash Guard for Suzuki Gixxer 155
Its a matter of preference. Mine is the butterfly-type. Its safer and looks good too.Originally posted by T-Bag View PostWhich crash guard should I go for my Black Gixxer? A butterfly type one or a single bar crash guard? Is one thing better than the other or is it just a matter of preference?
