It ventilates excess gas pressure build-up in the crankcase from blow-by gas . Engine oil pressure is a different thing .
It does have it, I see in the parts manual it's being called Breather-Pipe. Well liquid displaces gases in any open container easily; closed chamber is different altogether.
Excess engine oil in the crankcase may
    - absorb heat initially and struggle to dissipate later
    - affect the efficiency of oil-pump

I've seen engine-oil seeping through gaskets even in motorcycles with optimal oil-levels. Oil make, gasket health, and riding conditions may play a collective roll in that issue. Oil level may be of lesser one.

Well the difference can't be that much for same make-model motorcycles. It is however rational to assume that oil-level close to High or Low recommended oil-levels have diminishing returns; and right in the middle is optimal. Again that's a reasonable assumption; i.e. perhaps 60% instead of 50% between oil-levels may be very optimal, but we don't know.

    cheers

Its not mine ,Well that's the best integration I have yet seen on any bike through DIY. I wonder which brand that shield is ,I doubt if it's even Indian ..

After 11k km the gear box still feel very stiff compared to Yamaha's and Honda's.

What should be duration of service..

Another thing is I usually get a mileage of not more than 36kmpl... Have reported to SVC and they did some testing..

Let me share my daily journey.
It's 5.6 km from my home to office and then back home in evening. The road is a high traffic area. What should be the ideal mileage.
As I also do some highway cruising.
36-38 kmpl is okay. I live in Gurgaon, too much clutch engaging during commute.

Hi guys, i'm planning on buying a new gixxer. The dealer quoted 95000 as the final on-road price without any additional accessories. Is this the right amount or are they charging extra? (i'm from trivandrum)

Ask for a price break down. I checked on Suzuki's site and they have mentioned a price 87,343 (inclusive of road tax). On-road for Madurai is Rs. 87,613 as per the website, and I got it for Rs. 89,570. The insurance cost me around 2k and I dint opt in for extended warranty.

16th of the last month. I don't think they would have increased the price all the sudden(in three weeks). And everything looks fine except the showroom price. In Madurai, it was around 76k-78k. Send a mail to Suzuki regarding this. By the way, did you check with other dealers? and it would be helpful if you share the name of the dealer who is quoting 95k.

Asked the manager about it and he was like this is the new oil recommended by Suzuki.
Now the problem is that I'm facing real performance issues as the bike doesn't want to accelerate anymore and even fully opening the throttle makes the revs rise up slowly and the engine feels like it's dying.. Is this due to the oil or is there any other problem with the bike?
Oil is Motul 10w40 I guess.

Hi, just took delivery of my dual tone gixxer. As i was riding home, i noticed a hissing sound near the engine. Its present when i twist the throttle even a little. When i leave the throttle, the sound disappears. Is this normal?

Don't mix it up with air intake sound.
