Hi I am using Suzuki Gixxer SF special edition and I have a problem with it but I don't know what it is exactly.
When I reach around 50 kmph, it's going fine. When I'm in low gears I'm finding it difficult to turn and I'm feeling like all the weight is being applied to the front wheel and i feel like forcefully sliding away to one direction , it's like something is disturbing the wheel rotation. Could anyone tell me the solution please?

Put on centre stand and roll your front wheel, it should roll freely else disk could have been locked.

140/70-17 . Awesome wet grip and dry grip.cornering friendly
Any difference in handling, performance, speedo reading and mileage? How good is compared to stock ones and what cons does Masseter has over revz m?

            Four Questions

            1. There is no return spring in right footpeg (rider's) i keep accidently folding it and have to stop and fiddle with it. a manufacturing error or design fault? a white plastic thingy is present inside right one and a spring which works very well in left.

2.Insurance documents say bike gross weight is 350Kg

3.Handle vibrations are present, not unbearable like apache, more like Karizma vibes with less intensity, Slingshot has no vibes thanks to the handle end weight, has anyone tried fitting the same(or other) in Gixxer?

4.Has anyone got any poster saying "I CAN'T TURN THE BLOODY LIGHTS OFF" mountable on the front?

            Happy riding

Even the fz has only spring on left side i think.
I noted the same on my friends gixxe SF, right peg doesn't have spring right?
              It folds..
Because the kicker passes through footpeg area.

                1. As IamAditya said, the kicker passes through there, so the peg retracts and there's no spring action.

Apache bar ends, reduces vibes a little.

Hi guys. I have been running through a problem with my Gixxer since long. If someone found a solution, please share.

Since 3-4 months of purchasing my Gixxer, I started noticing a knocking sound in my chain or front sprocket. After a bit of cleaning and lubing the sound would disapper. At the 9th service the mechanic said changing the chain-sprocket set would solve the problme.
After around 23000kms my front sprocket was worn out. So I changed both the sprockets and the chain yesterday. There wasn't any sound until today. I was parking the bike and heard that sound again. I can't find a way to stop it. Although it isn't irritating but it still bothers me. I guess thats why I had to change my chain-sprocket in 23000kms.
The sense of freedom these two wheels give can never be matched by anything else...

Open the front sprocked plastic cover, check if there is any ply on front sprocked

I wanted to share my recent experience with an issue. I ordered gixxer SP edition 2months back and took delevery on February 1st, as i was in a hurry to go to office i didnt check the bike before taking delivery and i parked the bike in garrage and went out of station. Got back 10days later and had a good look at the bike and then i notice 2 small crack on speedometer/ digital console. Then i realised my mistake by not checking it during the delivery but went to showroom and complained about it but they laughed at me saying im coming after 11 days to report this and how can we believe ( I expected this to happen).
Then I gave a second chance by lodging a complaint in suzuki website ( i got this thought after reading some posts in this thread) and to my surprise they were listening to me politely. I showed then few evidence like my bike had run only 16kms till that time and the crack was internal. They took photos and got my speedometer replaced in 3 days with new one.
                      Excellent gesture from Suzuki.

To anwer your 1st question. Its not manufacturing defect, spring is not there for purpose. When you want to use kicker instead button start you have to fold to right footpeg. If there is spring you wont be able to use the kicker

                      2. My document says 135kg. May be its typing mistake even if some one sits on it it wont be 350kg.

Actually it's valid point for Gixxer SF FI users because it doesn't come with the kick starter , so there should have been a Spring retract even in the right foot pegs.

Can we fix an underbelly protection (like Apache160) in naked gixxer.? I was worried about the bikes underbelly. It scrapes speadbreakers and potholes.
