This is getting a little serious.my feet is becoming sore and FE has dropped to 39 on relaxed riding. I used to get 55 till first service.Idle is 1200 rpm stable, there is some noise from exhaust when throttle is closed. The only complaint mentioned during first service is headlight focus(which they totally messed up)

No, yo cannot change the stock seat shape. But yo could modify the seat by adding foam on speficic areas and another seat cover ovet it from a local seat custom shop.

First check if there's anything under the seat blocking the air filter exhaust pipe. If no prob, get ur engine checked from svc.

The safest option (and cheapest too) would be to visit Wellington and get an adequately sized vinyl sticker of a similar colour printed and pasted over the scratch.

                  Hello Guys,

Bought a BS4 variant Gixxy a month back. Bike is performing well as expected. But started facing few strange problems past few days.
The bike doesnt start by self/kick after parking it outside(under sun, side stand) for a couple of hours. I am having to give it a little bit of throttle and the wheels moving inorder to start. This has now happened multiple number of times. No problem in starting overnight when parked inside/in shade.

Any idea what might be the issue? Hot sun causing vapor locks maybe??
Note: Self and kick start does not work.

                  Cheers!!

                    • Suzuki Gixxer 2017 Rear Disk Heating Issue

                      Hello,
I have recently bought a 2017 gixxer rear disk variant.
Its has just been about 20 days for the vehicle and i have started hearing some strange sound from the rear disk at slower speeds and the disk is also getting heated too much as compared to front disk.
Please let me know if this is expected from rear disks and if not then what can be a possible solution to this.

                      Thanks

                        I feel you my friend
Exact issue I had and got an extra inch of foam added to pillion in an uneven way so it's flat, it improved a bit.

I have done 6000kms with my gixxer sf and finished 4 free services. I am thinking about changing the engine oil to fully synthetic.please recommend the best grade and brand. also please let me know if there is any problem after changing it to fully synthetic.? thanks in advance.

Go for fully synthetic. Theres no harm and now after 6k kms the engine is ready to take up synthetic.
Suzuki Recommended Oils and best tested for a healthy engine in the long run:

                              1. Idemitsu 10W40 Fully Synthetic Oil (౩90 INR)

                              2. Motul 7100 10W40 Fully Synthetic Oil (850 INR)

I prefer and use motul one and use for 3000 kms untill you change the oil again. Yo could go beyond 3k kms with this oil upto 4.5k kms max as others here in forum suggested to use a good n pricey oil for more kms. But i prefer to keep the oil change interval to 3k kms.

                              Idemitsu

Thank you so much for your suggestion bro. BTW, why there is a huge price difference between the two brand?
