Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Hey guys, I removed the saree guard from my bike so that my rim stickers look more clearly. And hence I can't use the bike lock anymore so I bought a disk brake lock but it came with this thing which I don't know how to use or why the manufacturers sent that. Can you help me understand what it is and how it is used?

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
You can bolt it to your bike(near the leg guard or any place which already has a screw) and you can hook on the disc brake lock to it when you are on the move. Once u reach your destination, simply remove your lock from it and lock it on to the disc..! Its provided so that you dont have to keep the lock in your pocket. Hope i was able to explain.Originally posted by T-Bag View PostHey guys, I removed the saree guard from my bike so that my rim stickers look more clearly. Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Yeah Sharath, I get it. Thanks for explaining. And guys, I have just calculated my mileage. It is 52 kmpl. I drive pretty sedately that is under 4.5k RPM. The top speed that I have gone so far is 74 kmph. That too only once. Most of the time, I top at 64 kmph. I'm 750km on the odo. Once I reach 800 km, I plan to ride till 7.5k rpm.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
First batch has various issues. Rust on chrome parts, on bolts, on front shocks and on disk brakes; paint chipping off (tail light, rear grab bars), color fading of plastic parts and switch gear.Originally posted by Vaisakh2778 View PostIs it normal to have a gixxer to have tappet noices even at 3.2k kms . it is very first batch model, third delivery in alapuzha (kerala).
But tappet noise issue is new for me... Mine is last of first batch (i guess) in Kochi.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Even I face it. Mine is 2014 model. Every time it claks, I take it to service center and press them on quality issue, and they sort it out for free. I've had to go 2 times for the issue till date. Now it doesn't bother me.Originally posted by Vaisakh2778 View PostIs it normal to have a gixxer to have tappet noices even at 3.2k kms . it is very first batch model, third delivery in alapuzha (kerala).
