Has anyone tried changing the exhaust muffler tip to the one on gixxer SF? Mine keeps coming off even with a slight touch in traffic (Bangalore traffic, so people take joy in touching bikes -_-) and I've noticed the muffler tip in SF looks quiet stable.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Yes i have seen a couple of bikes in my city with the SF's muffler tip, definitely possible. Stability/sturdiness will probably be the same though.Originally posted by mlayzee View PostHas anyone tried changing the exhaust muffler tip to the one on gixxer SF?.
I own a SF myself and the SF muffler tip is prone to ugly scratches especially when u have a pillion, so you have been warned. [emoji16]

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
😣. I couldn't service my gixxer in the first two free service coupouns because of illness. Date was over but kms wasn't because I didn't rode the bike at all. Now I availed 3rd and 4th service in time , completed 1 paid service too, but now the engine dynamo wire was leaking oil so I called showroom, they say as I didn't availed all the service so I won't get warranty. Now I have purchased additional warranty (5 year) from them that too at 5th paid service time, they are saying it is available after completion of 2 years, so can I avail warranty at 3rd year or what to do?? I brought bike on Jan 2015.4 wheels move your body, 2 wheels move your soul .

Have you tried raising a complaint with Suzuki on their website? You get a reference number and they do followup.Originally posted by Jagzxbhp View Post😣. It is written in manual that warranty void if all period services not done but they have themselves accepted my request of additional warranty at 5th paid service time.Originally posted by rev View PostHave you tried raising a complaint with Suzuki on their website? Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Hello everyone, yesterday I bought the chain-sprocket kit for the Gixxer just as an extra backup spare. I'm posting this for your reference.
Gixxer and Gixxer SF share the same chain-sprocket kit. Actually, there is no kit for the Gixxer as the three components come seperately.
Chain Assembly -> ( Part. No 27600-30H40-132 ) ( Rs. 576 ) ( R428, Non O-Ring, 132 Links )
Drive Sprocket -> ( Part. No 27511-30H10-000 ) ( Rs. 311 ) ( aka Front/Engine Sprocket ) ( 15 Teeth )
Driven Sprocket -> ( Part. No 64511-34J10-000 ) ( Rs. 399 ) ( aka Rear Sprocket ) ( 45 Teeth )
Total Cost -> Rs. 1286/-.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Hi,
I got my gixxer (dual tone dual disc) delivered today, that was a lot of duals. The thing is I didn't get the number for the bike yet and I was thinking of going on a longish trip tomorrow. The dealer said I could drive the bike for 180 kms without the number being assigned, is that true? (I am from Bangalore).
Regards,
Vinay
