Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
I have the similar issue on my SF after 3-4 days of purchase ,,, it makes tik tik sound regardless engine is hot or cold ,, but it makes randomly ,, sometime it goes after 5-10 min ,, I also have whining sound issue ,, I think tick tick is related to valve clearance or rocker armOriginally posted by rajit.saha12 View Post

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Very common thing with gixxers engine initially i tought that sound is because of loose tappets so adjusted them 2 times at the service center but no use the sound didnt vanished.Originally posted by Siddharth Mehra View PostI have the similar issue on my SF after 3-4 days of purchase ,,, it makes tik tik sound regardless engine is hot or cold ,, but it makes randomly ,, sometime it goes after 5-10 min ,, I also have whining sound issue ,, I think tick tick is related to valve clearance or rocker arm
According to the mechanic the sound is pretty common in all the gixxers. My gixxer produces that tick tick sound when the engine is hot.PULSAR 180 DTSI- 2007

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
I think better to go with local ones.. If u put engine guard then u have to sacrifice leg guard.. So your call..Originally posted by rajit.saha12 View PostThnxx both of you..can any one show me the new engine guard? Is it worthy? I mean from the mud, stone, etc etc? They would have to change the rear drum assembly, brake oil assembly, modify wheel chain assembly to support rear disc brake.
These parts would not be taken by them, and in the manufactured bikes it would not be there in the first place.
Anyway, this is what they are saying.
