    In Hyderabad,
    Gixxer sp ex showroom is 83131
    road tax is 9% of ex showroom(14% if you have any vehicle registered under your name.)
    insurance will be around 2000-2200,hdfc ergo is cheapest from my experience
    accessories will cost between 1000-1500,but better get them from kothi because showrooms usually charge much higher for accessories
    extended warranty will be around 650(3 years extra)
    temp-registration will cost around 300 max.
    grand total will cost you around 94-95k depending on dealership,insurance,accessories price etc.
    NOTE:i got this bike 3 months back in hyd.

      One employee in a showrrom said that Life Tax is increased, I could sense he is a completely new comer and I checked it on the website, its the same as you said - 9%.

      Which color did you take?

        My suggestion is never buy special edition models (any bikes), when the special thing only limited to paint scheme and graphics, because in future, finding the same colour exteriors parts will be a pain.

            I don't own a gixxer, my buddy owns a SF moto gp, i like the naked look though.

            I would get the suzuki blue or dual tone white & blue.

              Welcome.
              road tax is still same as far as i know,i got the special edition..initially was going for red/black one but changed my mind later..and remember that special edition costs 1k more than the standard one.

                      You only get a saree gaurd as standard with the bike and have to pay for the rest.

                                Get a White and Blue and swap tank panels, air scoops, head light surrounds (Adds another 3-4k, does not matter when we go for heart over brain ). You can make it legal by updating in RC book also. (Buying a blue one and adding disc can cost close to 10k, all parts available off the shelf and reliability depends on the installer).
