Yes, you can install the indicator buzzer at the ASC. It's included as a part of additional paid for accessories (atleast in here).

Oh and one more thing. Got the bike on Tuesday and rains started here. The bike is currently parked in the partially covered zone and prone to getting wet from the drizzle. Any suggestions for good quality bike covers which don't damage the paint in the long run? Online or offline stores (Chennai)

Which battery is good for Gixxer? How much does it cost? I guess Gixxer uses 3Ah battery

I replaced mine on 6th March 2018 with Amaron AP-BTZ-4L. Seems its a 4 Ah one.

MY March 2015, run almost 15K+. Cost about 800 bucks.

            Hope this helps.

Hello guys, facing a strange issue. Had cleaned my bike last week at home. Now all of a sudden the bike does not power on instantly, have to rotate the key 2 to 3 times then the bike powers on. Also while riding yesterday, the bike powered off suddenly and accelerator stopped responding, then after 2 attempts of switching off and switching on the power came back on. After that it was fine. This is happening once or twice daily. Anyone else ever faced this issue?? How was it fixed??

              P. S: I own a sf fi abs model.

Seems like the electricals have come loose during during your cleaning. Take it to the SVC or a good mechanic.

I am seeing large lumps on my rear tyre. Seems like it's time to replace the tyre. I have the first version naked gixxer and I drive around in Chennai. Mostly commute to work. Roads to my work is mostly good except for few minutes stretch which is a roller-coaster ride.

Planning on getting a new one tomorrow. Any recommendations on which tyre to get? Can I get it replaced at the service center?

Took it to the service centre today, the issue was happening due to sulphur accumulation in the key wiring connections. The SVC guy cleaned it and now it is running fine.

                    Thanks.

Get the MRF REVZ M - TL. I think those are ones used on Gixxer. Stock tyres I mean. They offer enough traction and roadgrip than what I've seen. Or you can spend some more cash and go for the Michelin Pilot TL.

Michellin Pilot Sporty is crap, only go for Michellin Pilot Street Radials.

Didn't realise that there were two variants. The emporium here in BBSR sells only the Pilot Sporty. I've seen some people use it in P220. Thanks for pointing it out though.

                            Need help from experienced riders:

Lately, my chain needs frequent adjustments (with-in 200 kms). SVC folks advised me to go for sprocket assembly change. Current Odo reads 24.1k kms and year of purchase is Feb'15. The current one is factory fitted. I'm into extensive touring with minimal city movement, not more that 10 kms a day.

I also had this previously and cleaned the key assy at home myself. Seems like you've got the job done. Cheers.

Your rear sprocket still looks good. Have you checked the front sprocket?
