Haven't till now. I was not sure about what service (regarding instrumentation panel) Authorized Service Centre did.

Surely. I'll ask my local (trusted) mechanic for the same.

    Thanks!

Is it possible to insert the tube in it without any extra modifications? Which tube should I insert and what would be it's approx price....?

Better to change the tyre.it is sidewall damage. It would be very dangerous at higher speeds when tire heats up.
What difference does it make to replace it a few months earlier than pushing it to limits. It is just matter of couple of thousand which you have to spend within two/three months. Better to change it immediately than all this juggad.
Watch youtube videos for tyre side wall burst.

Yeah strongly recommend this though. Its better to avoid unwanted or expected accidents rather than saving few bucks. [emoji2]

Guys do consider that in 2 years and 3 months I have completed 5k on odometer & the tyre is in great condition. So changing it will be a great deal as I am tight in budget. And approx price of same tyre would be appreciated. Thanks for your replies mates[emoji5]

Because i'm not living in IND, i'm unable to help with your query of tire pricing. But i found this website to be more helpful to get an idea.

Is it possible to retrofit rear disc brake on the drum variant of gixxer? Has anyone done it?

This is impossible to do and forcefully manually making the arrangements will affect strength of the structure.

Its not impossible to do and nothing will be affected. The problem comes with the cost of changing the rear brake system.

You will need the following components:

                        1. New Rear Rim
                        2. Rear disc
                        3. Rear brake caliper
                        4. Rear Brake lines
                        5. Rear brake hydraulic unit
                        6. Rear brake fluid reservoir
                        7. Bracket welding for holding the fluid reservoir
                        8. New right side footrest bracket to hold the hydraulic unit
                        9. And a whole lot of fine tuning.

But its best to stay away from such structural modifications.

Actually I own a fzs fi not the gixxer.Saw a post on rushlane that the 2018 fz is coming with rear disc. As the same already happened with gixxer that the newer versions got a rear disc setup so I was curious to know that if its possible to retrofit.

Then you should be asking on the FZ16 thread, not here. What makes you think the Gixxer shares the same structural design with the FZ16?

I think you did not get what I said, I was just curious to know that is this job easily possible or not. The gixxer has already a rear drum and a rear disc variant but fz doesn't so there is no point in posting such a question on the fz thread.
I even know that the bikes don't share same structural design but if its not a easy task on gixxer then the chances are that it also wont be a easy task on the fz to retrofit it.
I hope its much clear now.

I actually forgot FZ16 does not have the Rear disc variant yet. Well my bad, but goodluck if you wanna make the change.
