Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
Yes, anything and everything can be bought from the SVC. Duke's stock ECU costs 14000+. Skeptical about the pricing as it was hearsay during a service visit a year or so back. But prices might have increased or reduced, you can give a call to your SVC, they shall help you out.Originally posted by amarme001 View PostHi,
Does anyone know the cost of factory stock ECU and can it be purchased from the SVC
Cheers!

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
Thank you for the help .... I am searching for a accident 390 for long term project.... Most available without ECU. Have to source a used one.Originally posted by B7ACKTHORN View PostYes, anything and everything can be bought from the SVC. Duke's stock ECU costs 14000+. Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
Hey guys , I've done around 5k kms on my bike until now . The bike seems to choke a bit on slow revs through the Rev band ,but when I push her hard she seems to ride without any issues . Would this be an issue of the air filter ? Or are there any other factors corresponding to this ?The North Eastern Sojourn- wanderlust diary-7000 Kilometers|| Sikkim || Bhutan

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience

This is what I got painted. Not very happy with the outcome as job was done in a hurry while changing the coolant. Suggestions, specially photoshopped ones, are welcome. Please dont suggest matte black.Next probable paintjob shall be during June.Last edited by SpeedyKol; 04-04-2016, 02:42 AM.

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
Choking means the bike is starved of fuel/air intermittently as you'd feel in carbed bikes. I am guessing you're relating to the jerking motion, snatching back and forth at low revs, is that you're referring here?Originally posted by Chris2292 View PostHey guys , I've done around 5k kms on my bike until now . How much has the bike clocked.

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
ODO stands at 5k kms now. No, the jerking motion was present from beginning on lower revs . What I am experiencing is how an Carbed bike would choke if it is denied of proper air intake from say ,a clogged air filter . I can feel it if I try to redline on each gear ,a slight lag when the bike pulls. Am suspecting the air filter as I did a decent amount of rough and dusty off roads on my last trip. Would there be any other factors I should consider ?Originally posted by B7ACKTHORN View PostChoking means the bike is starved of fuel/air intermittently as you'd feel in carbed bikes. Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
U mean when there is no fuel in main and about to hit reserve. The throttle timing lags.clean the throttle body and air filter (doubt if it's AF)Originally posted by Chris2292 View PostODO stands at 5k kms now. Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
It could be dirty air filter or throttle body. Even bad fuel could be problem.Originally posted by Chris2292 View PostHey guys , I've done around 5k kms on my bike until now . Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
Apart from the air filter, check your fuel pump pressure at the SVC. If possible also check your spark plugs, and your throttle body. But keeping it to the basics, replace the airfilter, observe and please report your experience.Originally posted by Chris2292 View PostODO stands at 5k kms now.
