You can easily take your bike to Pondi and back. Do give some bursts of acceleration to 150kmph/10k RPM.It wont be a problem for the bike. But ensure the service is done right after the Pondi trip because engine oil would be totally black for sure.

Good to hear there's nothing wrong with my bike. Thanks for the quick reply SpeedKol.

I touched 130 yesterday and then slowed down as I was going above 7500 RPM. I will the visit the service center and get the oil changed and might change the coolant myself or buy Engine Ice and ask if they can change it for me.

I rode my friend's rc390 yesterday which is some 5 months older than mine.. It is way different from my bike.. Comparing we found that my bike had a lot more vibrations on the handle bar than his bike and the front suspension also felt stiffer.. Overall I found his bike to be smoother than mine.
What might be wrong with my bike? Or is it just because I have only done first service till now.? I'll be doing second service shortly... It is about to complete 150 days. What should I be looking out for?

Posting this on behalf of a friend who owns a Rc390. Where can he get a double bubble screen for a reasonable price? Is double bubble available as a KTM Powerpart (upgrades) for this machine?

I'm having two problems with the bike, and this is my first bike so please help out.

First is the engine heats up a lot, I know that for the first 1000 kms I'm running with mineral oil so it will heat up a lot compared to synthetic oil, but I have to wait 7-10 mins for the fan to stop before parking and on a few occasions the fan won't stop in the basement so I have to idle the bike somewhere around my building with good wind and the fan will stop in 3-4 mins.

Second is when I'm driving and I leave the throttle and don't hold the clutch there is a really funny sound from the exhaust. If I lower my speed and do not let go of the throttle but slowly reduce my speed I don't get this sound. I talked to the service center guy and he said this is because my bike is new.

Also is it okay if I take my bike to Pondicherry today 120 kms from my place? I will stop at least twice and let the bike cool down and is it okay if I complete 1000 kms in say 10 days?

          Some pictures:
Don't wait for fan off... Just cut the engine off... Bike cools down automatically after engine off...

DO NOT QUOTE the entire picture set

Hey mate don't quote the whole post, might be bothersome for people browsing on mobile.

The showroom manager told me to wait for the fan to stop before cutting off the engine. You just completed your first service did your bike heat up a lot especially in traffic?

There is a powerparts race windshield. He might get it on ebay.. Another option is a puig windscreen.

Does anyone know where I can get fork frame sliders? Like this one but not as expensive and with high shipping charges?

I saw a few fork sliders for the tyres but I think I'd prefer frame sliders to protect the fairing and other parts from crash.

Hello everyone. I'm thinking to change the coolant in my RC. I saw that Motul's coolant has a good review. So thinking to go for that coolant. Can anyone help me in changing the coolant? Secondly, will it ban my bike's warranty? And is there any other better coolant than Motul's one? I tried to search the engine ice but it isn't available in India.
                  Thank you in advance

Afaik the stock coolant is motul. If you are facing issues change it to engine ice coolant. It has good reviews on 390

                          Hello guys.
Thinking to change the coolant to Engine ice coolant. I have a question. Will changing the coolant void my warranty?
                          Regards
