Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
Exactly. I'm almost certain the mirrors can be fit to the outgoing model. Slipper clutch and ride by wire are the real upgrades I want on my RC 390. I love how the underbelly exhaust is integrated into the fairing and don't wish to change it. I want to test ride that bike and see if the braking is better.Originally posted by rawat97 View Post

Slipper clutch can be retrofiited in rc390 but i am not sure ride by wire can be done without easily and if it will be worth the money spent.Originally posted by thrustrev View PostExactly. Brake and clutch levers are also adjustable ,,hope with disc they also changed the master cylinder for more intial and progressive brake response..lets see

Would all the upgrades be worth the money? I'm happy with my bike as it is really...

yes I am sure..motozone from pune does that but I am not sure about the prices ....I am just waiting for warranty period to get over .
for me I need slipper clutch for light clutch action....adjustable brake lever as i find default one reach a bit far for my taste...and defintely i want more initial response from brakes so i may opt for new master cylinder if they solve the purpose...rest upgrade info is still not there but if anything increases the practicality and worth the money spent then definately I will think about it..

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience
Well, finally my dream is getting a life [emoji1]
Off to Coimbatore this weekend to get my level 1 training at Apex Racing Academy [emoji16]
Eagerly waiting to quench the real thirst of opening throttle completely [emoji7]
Air pressure [emoji818]
Coolant level [emoji818]
Disc pads have pretty much of life left
RVMs and rear section to be removed.
Any suggestions or tips for a beginning would help me a lot.
TIA [emoji5]

Just now i finished my class from Coimbatore racing academy. I rode all the way from Pune to Coimbatore (Took a break at Bengaluru). To be honest RC390 is a good machine for touring also. I literally raped all the cars in highway
. Did 850kms in 14hrs and no body pain at all. I maintained average speed(as per cluster) of 105kmph.
Adjust your suspension according to your weight which i didn't do but experts suggested that.
Kari motor speedway is a awesome track which has more right turns.Best place for beginners to learn.

I have monoshock adjusted to level 6 which according to me is stable and was suggested to have my air pressure lesser by 4 units on both front and rear (I weigh 66 kilos).
It sure is an awesome tourer [emoji108]
I did Bengaluru - Pune - Mumbai - Bengaluru and experienced a little of body ache on reaching back as it was 4 days trip covering Lonavla and Lavasa too. It undoubtedly rules the highways.
We hardly took breaks on highways (We roughly would cover 250 kms at one go) and the engines showed no struggle or lack in performance [emoji2]
Throughout Metzellers proved me its the best in Indian market [emoji7]
