    i am planning to buy kTm RC390, what would i check before receiving the bike and can anyone share the owners manual of the bike plz.

      The manual is on the company's website

      and for the pdi
      just do the usual checking which is done in all the bikes
      check for scratches
      check if all the switches and lights work
      odo should not be more than 25 kms (note that sometimes they keep it on trip one and can reset it so the customer doesn't notices it and thinks it's the actual distance)
      check for all the documents
      engine oil level
      colant level
      let the bike on for a while and check if the radiator fan turns on or not
      check for the tool kit and first aid kit

      ask them to show the correct way to put back the seat and battery cover and check if the extra fuses are there or not

          Any pointers to the User Manual of RC 390? The showroom guy asked me to download an app on mobile, I did that. But I am not able to move ahead on the app after entering my mobile number.

                    You'll, at the bare minimum need 5k plus, plus addons like service charge etc, you're looking north of 5.5k for the cluster, if you're changing it from the SVC. All SVCs have this part, and it's not available outside the SVCs.

                              Yes, the bike does have spare fuses inside the fuse boxes themselves. Check your manual for more info. All fuse boxes on any motorcycle does have spare fuses just in case

                                puncture magnets! and depends on your luck or lack of
                                if there is an object that is capable of causing a puncture in your path then these metz and mrf's on the ktm's will suck it in!

                                On another note, on my D200 yesterday had the 4th puncture on the rear, some sort of a huge metal thingy (looks like some electrical connector) caused it and was beyond safe repair limits. patched it up till i could get to the svc and today had it replaced with the michelin 150/60.. immediately could feel a significant improvement in ride quality and grip, never had this feel even when the mrf's were new.

                                Yes, you will find the spare fuses right inside the fuse box. look at the sticker on the fuse box or read owners manual to identify which fuse corresponds to what component.

                                And btw, noticed that the 'new' owners manual has far fewer pages compared to the old booklets. Saw a customer come in for service and his booklet had less than half the pages. Couldn't get a closer look though. Wonder what info has been cut out from the manual.
