re: KTM RC 200 Owners Experience Thread
Yes, I use the basic RAW Rinseless Waterless Car Wash Concentrate. I mix it up in an empty 500ml colin spray bottle and it lasts me around 3 cleaning sessions on my duke for 10ml of the product. So do the math on the 250ml bottle.Originally posted by jRay View PostLooks interesting! I'm gonna try that. Do you use it?
You have to mix around 5~10ml (not more) in 500ml of water and then spray it on and wipe off, and make sure you use only a microfiber cloth.Last edited by s1d; 09-12-2015, 04:26 AM.

re: KTM RC 200 Owners Experience Thread
A 150cc, 17bhp (not at wheel) can go beyond 120real speed? Please think again how an Aprilia Rs125 reaches a top speed of more than 140, do compare both the bike's specifications. And ask any person who does a v box testing, or even gps testing, there is always 5-8% speedo error in each and every bike.Originally posted by broken87 View PostI'm curious to know why the true top speed won't go beyond 120 km/h on the R15. re: KTM RC 200 Owners Experience Thread
so, add 5-10ml of this to some 500ml water & spray and wipe.. that's all?? and it removes most of the dirt and keeps the bike shiny?? does it work for cleaning the mono shock absorber??Originally posted by s1d View PostYes, I use the basic RAW Rinseless Waterless Car Wash Concentrate. It removes all the dirt (though i wouldn't recommend you use this at places where dirt is caked on, in such cases first hose it down with water/shampoo)Originally posted by Ajay Vishwanath View Postso, add 5-10ml of this to some 500ml water & spray and wipe.. that's all?? and it removes most of the dirt and keeps the bike shiny?? does it work for cleaning the mono shock absorber??
You can use it on the monoshock , i don't see a reason why you shouldn't. you could also just wipe the monoshock with a really damp cloth.
We duker's have that extra bit of plastic guards over the mono

speaking of plastics, can it be used to clean the tyre hugger or other plastic bits?Originally posted by s1d View PostIt removes all the dirt (though i wouldn't recommend you use this at places where dirt is caked on, in such cases first hose it down with water/shampoo)

re: KTM RC 200 Owners Experience Thread
correct about the 5-8% speedo error logic. Every bike has it. KTM's clearly have the least of it. My source for this claim is internet, and an actual ownership experience of both NS and RC200.Originally posted by prateek2210 View PostA 150cc, 17bhp (not at wheel) can go beyond 120real speed? Another question, Do you actually have real world experience of riding alongside R15's, NS' (i believe that you do.. samrat's bike right) and RC200's extensively, say during speed runs OR is that just your assumption, based on the power figures R15's 150cc mill puts out.
I will not discuss about the ancient tech like Aprilia Rs125 2T. And appears like RS4 125 actually seems to go well above 120km/h on speedo, as visible on Youtube videos.Last edited by broken87; 09-12-2015, 08:55 PM.

Why would I say something based just on assumption, have experience with all the mentioned bikes except RC.Originally posted by broken87 View PostAnother question, Do you actually have real world experience of riding alongside R15's, NS' and RC200's extensively, say speed runs OR is that just your assumption, based on the power figures R15's 150cc mill puts out.
P. S. Let aside RS125, the hottest 125cc from Yamaha (R125) is gets a good engine to reach fair amount of speed even after the speedo error.Fare thee well xBhp, All the best for being the biggest name in corporate world

re: KTM RC 200 Owners Experience Thread
Hey my bike had something wrong with a speedo and sent the bike to service centre to get it checked, got it after a day, the speedo is running fine and also got the chain tightened, but now there are some constant vibrations on the foopegs which weren't there before any idea what can be wrong?
Also does anyone know any website which is selling paddock stands online?

I see, I asked that because the way you put it in your previous post, made it look like an assumption.Originally posted by prateek2210 View PostWhy would I say something based just on assumption, have experience with all the mentioned bikes except RC.

My experience has been otherwise and is based upon extensive speed runs, with two R15 owners. But I will not argue here and defend anything, we're free to believe what we wish.

re: KTM RC 200 Owners Experience Thread
for the simple reason that it was not made/tuned to do such speeds.Originally posted by broken87 View PostI'm curious to know why the true top speed won't go beyond 120 km/h on the R15. Please explain
there are 125~150cc race prepped bikes that can hit 150+ kmph.
as an example, on the duke 200 there is a limiter that cuts you off at 137kmph.. and some other bikes are limited by other parameters/state of tune as well.
the duke is all plasticOriginally posted by jRay View Postspeaking of plastics, can it be used to clean the tyre hugger or other plastic bits?
tank cover, side panels etc.. It's a spray on, wait a minute and wipe off ..doesn't leave any residue.
I use the normal proklear. they also have one with carnauba wax (CX), this might cause a white residue when used on unpainted plastics such as the tire hugger/rear mudguard number plate holder.

the chain was tightened a bit too much. that buzz in the pegs will die down after a few 100km.Originally posted by Ishaan.humble View Postalso got the chain tightened, but now there are some constant vibrations on the foopegs which weren't there before any idea what can be wrong?

re: KTM RC 200 Owners Experience Thread
Is it ok for the bike to have a 100Kg+ person sit as a pillion? Just asking. My friend sat as a pillion and the bike felt like it was pushed down, it was a relief when he got off, and the road is quite bumpy, is it bad for the suspension?Never ride faster than your guardian angel can fly.
