I guess mainly because the demand for the nakeds are much more than the GTs, they might be taking this ABS project with 600i models first. But no worry --- After all its only a matter of a month or two and then you will have your Dream in the flesh :-)
Another good news is with IXIL exhaust your fuel efficiency might drop about 2 to 4 km depending on riding which is killer cuz those exhausts are MADD!! You also have many brands to check out other slip on exhausts. (Would you get bored of the growl on the long run??)
Ya true because of naked demand they went for 600i only.... but "jahan itna intezaar kar liya waha thoda aur sahi" its just that versys keep coming in my mind and try to seduce me to take that home

...... but my love to GT is stronger I guess till now

re: Benelli TNT 600i - Owners' Reviews & Experiences
Hey Guys,
People who have been following the thread would probably remember me as the guys who kept checking on the release of the ABS variant for about a month and a half from Feb to around March end, before finally giving in to the temptation and buying the TNT600i Nero.
N now that I have had it for almost a month, just sharing my experience of the bike. The bike is absolutely beautiful and its no unknown fact that the inline4 on this one sounds absolutely wonderful. Bear in mind, that I was upgrading from a RE Continental GT which I had had for 2 years, so I had pretty high standards both in terms of the styling and the sound, to actually grab my attention and then keep me happy; n the 600i has managed to do both..... Now when it came to riding the bike, again since I had the Conti GT, I was in someway used to a slightly heavy bike (Conti GT weights 180 kgs), when it came to riding in the traffic and general handling, so while it still did take some getting used to, it was more or less easier for me.....having said that, I find the bike to be a pretty good handler and very nimble and equally stable at high speeds.
The engine is very refined and specially after the Conti GT, i find it very comfortable both in terms of the vibrations and the riding posture.
The brakes - well.... you do need to get them properly run in, and they keep getting better with time and the distance that you cover... the rear feels spongy though; but the front ones are pretty good and provide a good feedback... as you ride the bike and get used to it, you do get used to the combination of the front and the rear brakes for optimal braking performance.
The fuel gauge on my machine was faulty and would always show full even if there was hardly any fuel.. which the service center guys, rectified by replacing the sensor inside for free during the first service.
I have ridden close to 1300 kms within one month and I love riding the bike at every opportunity that I get... so obviously I am very pleased with it.... Last sunday while riding on the Hyd Highway, since I had completed the first 1000kms... got an opportunity to explore the higher end of the rev range and it was fantastic... I touched about 170kmph post which I reduced cause of course I got a lil scared and want to get used to the 150-170 kmph range before i push more....anyhow, i didnt feel any resistance from the bike and above 160kmpgh is when I think the bike actually begs you to push it more and more, and it does take some will power and a lil sense to resist the temptation...
Yes, the low end and the mid range torque does leave you wanting for more, and you really want to the rev range to hit the higher part so that the power kicks in.. but having said that, it is in no manner less.... yes,,it wouldnt be the best bet for a Drag Race.. but otherwise when you rev the bike... you get a decent amount of low end power and the roaring sound makes up for the rest.
The service from DSK Benelli in Bangalore, from the time of the first enquiry to the entire sale process and now the first service was been pretty good.. there are of course some minor blemishes here and there, but the overall experience has been pretty satisfying...

re: Benelli TNT 600i - Owners' Reviews & Experiences

Yep.
the delhi benelli showroom guy called up and was saying that the abs versions would be out from next month.
he also said that only the red and black colors would have abs but not the white.
no clue why...

Re: Benelli TNT 600i - Onwers' Reviews & Experiences
Wow, what a day it's been. Had been down to the showroom after a hasty lunch, the sales dude was there waiting for me since I had mentioned I'd be coming in to book the Beast today.
Entered the showroom and they had the TnT 25, 300, 600i & GT lined up in a row and behind that was the 899 on display

Man this thing above is a different creature staring at you ---- Okay back to what I came for, where is my white beauty? Unfortunately they didn't have the white one today but the Red was available. Sales dude he had some work so I told him I would take the bike out for a spin & I also had a friend with me so we were wondering if we could take 2 bikes out but He said no and only 1 600i for TR available.
We took the deal, Now usually TR in their(Showroom) perspective is a Ride Around The Block --- WTF is that?? So I had requested them beforehand, that I need to ride the bike for a longer period to which they agreed once they got to know I'm a legit customer & genuinely interested.
Bike had two bars of fuel and we were off from the showroom. I've always wondered if I could handle the Bike's weight along with a pillion but to my surprise I didn't find it Impossible. It is very much possible, let me tell you -- I'm someone who is average built, no gymming n all, height around 5'8/5'9 and for someone like me to handle a 220+ Kilo Bike with a pillion should be hard on paper but Nope it wasn't the case in reality.
I was comfortable riding the bike at speeds between 20-80 km/hr in city limits in our beautiful Bangalore traffic, Of course maneuvering in this traffic conditions will be tricky cuz of the size and weight, yup don't try & zoom past every gap you think this bike will go through, I would rather hold back than take the risk of sneaking this beast through a gap just cuz you thought there was enough space & regret later. Safety First people.
So I rode the bike totally for about 10-12 km and I feel a lot more confident now about this bike, this is my4th ride on a 600 and I'm sure ill take a few more(TRs) before my white beast comes calling. Bike does get hot but its manageable. At one stretch I opened throttle and she shot to 120 real quick but then traffic built up had to cut speed, & the growl from the IXILs made us Celebs
--- I Kid You NOT!! EVERYBODY wanted to see what the f**k was that?
Fun Test Ride Indeed! Came back to the showroom with a big ass smile on my face, went to the sales dude, gave the cheque booked the White (ABS). Shook his hand told him thanks so much & he gave me the booking slip.
When asked they said that the ABS bikes would reach the showroom in 15-20 days so I'm expecting delivery in 20-30, hopefully everything goes out smoothly and I should be riding my Benelli beauty by this time next month. Can--Not Wait!!! Excited man, my first ever Superbike!! is on the way.
Sorry I couldn't take any pics from the Test Ride, I was too engrossed in riding the bike & I totally forgot about clicking some.
BTW here are a few pics of the GT from the display:-

Not sure why the TnT899 pictures are so small.
Let me try uploading again, hope it works.
Yeah thats better

I believe its the TNT 1130R and not the 899, if you observe properly, the 899's exhaust has a ugly sprout coming out of it making it look like an end of a drainage pipe, but 1130R has a neat looking carbon fiber exhaust.

Oh ok, I was so convinced this was the 899 that I din't even bother asking anyone thereOriginally posted by kanth View PostI believe its the TNT 1130R and not the 899, if you observe properly, the 899's exhaust has a ugly sprout coming out of it making it look like an end of a drainage pipe, but 1130R has a neat looking carbon fiber exhaust.
and I completely missed the exhaust point cuz yes sometimes it's the ugly truth hitting your face in the case of the 899's exhaust. It really does look some drain pipe & looks soo not a part of this Elegant Beauty.
My Appologies people, the bike above is TnT 1130R.

re: Benelli TNT 600i - Owners' Reviews & Experiences
did you ordered any high performance break pads or the normal one? Alixpress do sell lot of stock products if its same then I dont think they will be any different.Originally posted by jamesrocky View PostGot the rear Break Pads for my 600i from aliexpress. Need to install it and see the performance. The original break pads lasted for just 3700kms. The rear pads are of not good quality. Let me see how much I can do with this new rear brake pads

Yes, I know it will be the same but was little skeptical and I didn't had time to search the best brake pads when I ordered + the cost was very less, there are some ceramic and sintered pads available. Next time it will definitely be performance padsOriginally posted by dvsingh14 View Postdid you ordered any high performance break pads or the normal one? The cost was just $24.964 including shipping which is $4.96. Shipping was not free for this and I waited for almost 42 days to get it.Originally posted by SmokeyMax View PostNice man, how much did these cost you with shipping? Have you got any other stuff for the bike from Aliexpress ? Even I'm thinking of getting some things from there.
For the same, the service center in Bangalore quoted 4400Rs including fitting
. Even if the fitting charges are around 300Rs . I should still be able to save around 2400 RS.
BTW this is my third product from aliexpress, I have bought windshild - installed, got frame sliders last week - not yet installed, will be installing it tomorrow as I get some free tiem and upload the pics later.Last edited by jamesrocky; 05-13-2016, 06:25 PM.Past & Current Bikes :
