Yah definitely thats a lot of money to save, almost 50% less. If these new ones last another 4K km then its a for sure VFM product. I have a feeling it might last more than 4K provided you use the back break less and give it less abuse. :-)

I'm wondering if anyone from Bangalore or anywhere else have got the foldable clutch & front break installed on their bikes. It really looks good I must say.

BTW Jamesrocky what is the mileage you get on your bike? And how many kms have you clocked? If you don't mind, could you upload a couple pics of the windshield ??

Hey man, how come you decided to put your bike up for sale? Any particular reason? How has your experience been with the bike so far.. Liking it or loving it? :-)

            Query:

Which brakes are they gonna use for ABS ? Anyone have any idea? My guess is they might make Benelli ABS since they already have Benelli parallel dual discs.
            Please share your thoughts.

they will be benelli one only .. I have read earlier that they are designing there own to keep the cost low and that's why it took them so much time to roll out ABS.

I am getting around may be 15 kms/ltr. I have clocked around 4.2k. Here are the pics of the windshield

Installed windscreen which was ordered from Aliexpress. Took around 45 minutes to install it. So far good. Now even when going at speeds of 90-100 you don't feel too much windblast. Yet to check on...

BTW I got my rear brake pads installed, no increase in performance as it is the stock one. I just paid 100 Rs to the installation . When I checked the worn out rear pads, I felt it still can do around 1k kms more. Hence I have kept it for future emergency.

                Also installed the frame sliders

Yeah even I'm guessing it'll be Benelli only, but almost 50,000 rupees more for that. O.O

How much would brembo ABS cost? any idea?

Wow thats really less isn't it? 15km / ltr ?? How was your run in period? Highway rides do you get more?

I was actually skeptical about the aftermarket tall windshield for this bike but Yeah it looks better than expected. I am also planning to upgrade once I get the bike and this is definitely an option.

And like dvsingh14 said the sliders do look like their jutting out a little too much for my liking, that said it looks really good. :-)

                      Aftermarket ABS estimate:
                      1. ABS adaptable ECU - 25k+ (to read sensors, stock Benelli 'may' have it built in, just deactivated)
                      2. New ABS adaptable rotor - 15k+
                      3. Brembo caliper and master cylinder - 10k+
                      4. Brembo brake pads - 10k+
                      Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

I think there stock ABS version will be around 30K as I discussed with SVC Delhi.. becasue if its around 50K they could have gone for brembo only .. anyway you can me just DJ

yes, I don't know my bike gives around 15 kmpl, I have already done everything to sort out the mileage issue in my previous posts, Everything is fine. May be I don't take too much on the highways. I cover a very small amount of kms in city with b2b traffic. I believe this is the reason for low mileage. Btw I ripped the bike on the highways and touched 170kmph and overall on the hightway it gave 20 kmpl inspite of spirited ride. May be it suits more for the highway than in city.

Even I feel, the frame sliders are little lengthy. But at the same time it keeps other vehicles away from my bike :P

I swear, DSK charging actually close to 60K more for ABS and not giving us Brembos If there was a genuine dealer for brembos with proper fitting then I could have gone and spent there. Hmmm Benelli will have to do for now.

Thanks for the info Divya Sharan.

Yeah probably why you get less in city, but not bad at all with medium abuse the bike puts out a decent efficiency of 20 kmpl -- it's what I like to hear. :-) I know they say you shouldn't worry about mileage on bikes like these but Brothers & Sisters I am an Indian :-D -------- I will ask mileage on 1000cc+ bikes also

I'm sure you can achieve close to or maybe even more than 25 kmpl on highway rides given you do extreme Eco riding.

Oh, BTW how come you din't opt for showroom sliders? Do you remember the price?

Yup, if I drive at around 80kmph on the highways, definitely I can expect 23+ mileage. But as soon you see the highway, bike throttle opens automatically .

The frame sliders from dsk looks like an iron rod and I didn't like it. They provide the same sliders for both 300 and 600i. The cost is around 4k I believe. I paid the same amount and I got this which at least looks decent.

I dont think they are charging 60K.. what i heard is around 30K
