To be frank I've not had any issues so far. After my bike broke down during the afternoon and was picked up by RSA in the evening, I got it back the following morning. So I wouldn't complain yet about SVC. They had the temperature sensor with them in stock. The issues mostly crop up when they don't have parts when you need them most. Also, if you have a trusted mechanic on the inside then it gets the ball rolling a lot smoother.

I had the same issue of over heating due to malfunction of temperature sensor

Also in Mumbai, there is just ONE showroom, that too at Thane Am waiting for the 2017 Duke 390 or the Bajaj VS400 or (not likely) the Honda CB500
Yes, you are right about that. Service interval is 4k kms/4 months which is quite short compared to other SBKs in the country. I was using mine for my daily commute from home to work. Riding inside city is not an issue at all. But the bike likes to be ridden at 70kmph which is a pain to maintain always considering the city traffic.

If you can hold on to your horses, wait for the D390 to be launched and give it a good amount of time for the first review to pop-up. Since you are going to invest a good amount of money, make sure you get the right bike.

Is this a problem with this bike? Saw a video on YouTube, a Benelli TNT 600i stopped mid way due to overheating. Rider said, he was stuck in traffic jam for hours. Hope they find some cure to this problem, before it actually start hitting their road pride.

Then it is impossible for engine to survive in Delhi, specially in summers. First air is not of good quality then the heat in which even the toughest of AC fails, god saves these high performance engine.

Saw a brand new red 600i near alwarpet, guess what the rider isn't even wearing a helmet... I mean come on, such a big bike, you have atleast wear gloves, helmet n boots while riding such a big bike, looks like this gentleman was doing a grocery shopping run or something, there was a plastic bag hanging on his handle bar. I know I don't have a right to talk about it, you could say its his wish, but doesn't that create a bad impression on others in general? If you can't even wear the basic protection I.e helmet , you don't deserve to ride. -_-

When we ride in ECR here in Chennai, I have seen dick heads riding Daytona, Z800 in boxer shorts and no helmets. I dont give a damn about the rider, I care more for the ride itself.

True that, but who gives these brainless specimens bikes to ride to start with that too a exoctic one. Cops will catch only geared riders , say that we are racing, don't catch the squids who actually race even on the pavements.
