Re: Benelli TNT 600i - Owners' Reviews & Experiences
You really need to check this bro! Generally there are 2 parts of a warranty.Originally posted by lucky_stormhunk View PostGuys.. the Ahmedabad serviceman told me that their service engineer already said - Even though sensors are electrical parts but they will not get replaced under warranty as per company rules. 😖
a) Regular Warranty - most brands provide this for 2 years
b) Extended Warranty - this is generally after first 2 years - usually ranges from 18 months to 36 months depending on brand.
Parts like sensors and many others are not covered in extended warranty - that usually covers only very critical parts (that generally are not supposed to fail and if they do then the price is way too high - e.g. gearbox, engine and few other things).
Please ask them where it says in writing that sensors are NOT covered. IF they are saying so confidently then it must be there somewhere in fine print and then you may not be able to do much - but don't give it up without trying.

Jeevan

Guys,Originally posted by Sanket_R15 View PostHonestly, please dont go for the ones benelli is providing. They are worthless and will do more damage than saviour for your bike. We have few frnds here in delhi with bad experience.
First of all congrats for your first inline4. Enjoy every bit of it. Dont be scared pushing the bike abit every now and then. Breaking in period is pretty crucial part of a bike and the way you handle first 1000kms play important role in shaping the character of your engine. Just like you teach a baby how to do stuff. Anyways, thats totally different topic
I dont know much about pune, but you can get some really decent ones from aliexpress. Myself and many many ppl here in delhi have got from ali and they worked fine when needed. I am a bit less active here compared to my early days but i'll try to share few links for good sliders.
Till then ride safe mate.
For frame sliders - definitely choose the best - don't hesitate due to cost as anyway you invested a lot in such kind of bike.
Please check SW-Motech - these are really best. After that you still have some good ones like R&G. Don't buy Ali-express stuff for this kind of component (ok to buy indicators, auxiliary lamps etc which are not related to safety.)
Don't compromise on helmet and riding gear also - buy at least decent one even if not top end - you won't regret it. In Pune, I bought from Biking Superstore (Balewadi) - check my thread starting with "Red Rose....." I have shared contact number of that store there. He gives same price as BigBadBikes from Bangalore but you save shipping cost.
All the best!
Regards,
Jeevan

My 600i completed 600kms today
There are many improvement in ABS version than the older version
1. The clutch is not as hard as non abs vehicals
2. Horn is much better than before .
3. The exhaust voice is also sharper than before abs version !

I have a 300 and I still don't leave it out of my sight. . . People walk up and start fixing their hair in my rear view mirrors ruining my set up. . Kids come and get all touchy feely with the bike , some even decide to put a leg up on it. . . I hate that.Originally posted by razzer View PostDo any of you use the 600i on a daily basis? Is it ok to leave it parked outside on the road? I'm pretty scared some sadistic person may just put a stone or two in the exhaust
Being on two wheels is being liberated. The vastness one feels being under the open sky. The whole feeling. . . cant be described.
Ride safe, Ride long.

Is the ABS switchable, can it be turned on/off. If not, then why is the ABS indicator light not illuminated in your console.Originally posted by jesal View PostMy 600i completed 600kms today

When u start riding the abs light switches off .
Again when you fully off the engine and than turn it on the light turns on again

Totally understand your feelings - but we have to live with the spotlight that comes with being a small scale celebrity (yes - owning a superbike makes you that automatically even if you have no intention to become one!)Originally posted by UnsettledNose73 View PostI have a 300 and I still don't leave it out of my sight. . . Just accept that your bike will attract many people towards it and some may cause some damage and we will have to pay for someone's mischief. There will be many such losses one has to suffer for no fault of ours.
Just avoid super crowded places on this bike. Also at office or wherever you are parking it, please tell the attendant to not allow parking other vehicles too close to your vehicle - that's the best you can do. You can't stop riding the bike just because of possibilities of damage to it - we bought it for riding it, didn't we!
