My friend who owns 600i is currently on 8200 kms says max his bike's tyre set can last up to 12k kms and chain sprockets are still in good. Brake pads most probably he will be changing at 10.5-11k kms.

Pros are always there - Attention, detail, looks etc. The bike has enough torque to push inside the city. Post 7k, the character changes completely, you will hang on to the bike for your life, it wont listen to you anymore .

Cons - After sales service is a bit pain when coming to the parts, it takes ages to reach in case if it needs replacement and the some of the OEM parts are shit in quality, like brakes, chain etc.

One thing you must be clear while trying to own a SBK is , are you really prepared to spend 60-65k in expenses for maintenance and operational cost. This does not include your wear and tear parts - CHain, brakes, tires etc.

If you are ready and aware of such expenses, then go for it, you will not regret it.

                          • Benelli tnt 600i

Hello Friends this is my 1st ownership thread on this forum i am not an avid writer so please ignore my mistakes .

The search of superbike started before 6 months when my son 4 years old saw Benelli 600i with ixil exhaust and he told me dad why dont we have this bike . ( We were on activa 😉at that time )
So i told him we ll surly buy some day and after a month or so i too got intrested in superbikes so i told my wife that we should buy a superbike and she was like 🙄are u ok ?
The topic was closed for 10 to 15 days nd i use to just see reviews of benelli 600i z800 and kawasaki er6n
She saw me that i am seeing videos and she gave me that sarcastic look and told me " abhi tak bhoot utra nahi kya"

Now the twist in the the story
Next day my wifes brother called me up and told me that he took a ktm 390 and i was like did u told ur sis about it hahah he told me no i am coming home and gonna give her surprise .. i told him come over and he reached in half and hour and the twist comes .
My wife saw ktm and she was like wow nice bike Nd my saala sahab told me jijaji why dont u also buy a superbike and we had a discussion over that for long 2 hours and after that my wife readily ageed that i can buy a superbike but on a condition that the pillion seat should be comfortable .
Now here that kahavat proves to be right " Sari khudai ek taraf aur joru ka bhai ek taraf"
THANKS TO MY BELOVED SAALA 😂😂

Now the search started for the superbikes as i had shortlisted benelli 600i , er6n, z800

So went to benelli showroom the next day and ask for the details got to know that abs is gonna come soon
So again i had to wait for a month or so .
As abs arrived took the test ride of benelli 600i and felt nice as i saw reviews of benelli that low end torque and mid range torque is not present but i never felt that or may be its my 1st superbike so i never know the diffrence .
Took all the details from the showroom the benelli people were very professional and spoke upto the point hospitality was also very nice .

After 3 to 4days went to kawasaki showroom in koregoan park in pune as i entered the showroom the person out here dint smile nor told me hello or anything , 1st thing he told me was plz dont touch the bikes all bikes here are above 8 lakhs i was like so mad at him but kept my cool (i guess i came on my activa so he was least intrested) i asked him details about z800 but was least intrested in giving me details infact he was on his mobile phone and had that ignoring wala attitude than i asked him can i get the test ride for z800 for that he told me we dont give test rides i was like how can i buy so expensive bike without a test ride he told me that its companys policy we dont give test ride .

Asked about er6n he told that bikes are sold by bajaj showroom at wakadewadi .
                            After that i left .
Dint had time for a week because of work overload
After a week went to bajaj showroom and thay had KTM showroom associated with bajaj bikes in that KTM showroom er6n was kept .
Saw the bike it was nice spoke to sales representative he was humble gave me all the details explained me all details about the bike
Asked him about test ride he too ignored i was like wtf why dont u ppl understand that how can a person buy a bike without a test ride and his ans was sir "kawasaki naam se bike bikti hai" but he was like sir i can give you my customerz number you can ask them how is the bike and have they faced any problemz i was like chuck it i dont want kawasaki .

In mid time did my riding gear shopping .😝

Now the time came told my wife that letz go to see benelli and she came . She liked it nd we took a test ride and went home without asking any other details as we were short of time .

So now again after a week i wanted a big testride for the bike called up my sales representative and he readily took some booking amt with me also . So i and wife went to nice big test ride may be 20 odd kms in bumper to bumper traffic and bit on a straight free road . My wife felt comfortable and the stock exhaust were just warm not hot .
Came to the showroom and booked the bike , as i wanted white colour had to wait for some 20 days as white was not avaialable with them
I requested them to give me bike before 15 sep as after that pitru paksh starts and no new vehical can be bought in these 15 days but thay were not able to provide me the bike by 15 sep . So i had my loan pre approved from hdfc bank and i told the representative that as the bike come i ll see the bike and ll give u full payment .

So now the waiting period starts and everyday i just go to youtube and find some videos and read reviews of benelli on xbhp .

Finally on 23rd thay told me that your bike has arrived nd u will get to see the bike on monday at owr showroom that is on 26th
Went to showroom on 26th all excited too see my new bike Nd it was all wrapped in white wrapping material i opened it and saw the bike took some pics and gave them check of downpayment and told the bank to make the disbursement to benelli people .

Yeah i had to pay some 6000 odd rs extra as our beloved government increase tax from 12.5% to 13.5%

Today its 30th sep and i ll be taking delevery of my bike tomorrow
That is 1st oct the 1st day of navratri .
May goddess Durga 🙏 protect my bike and me and all my friends here .

Will post pics of my bike tomorrow as i bring it home .
