Re: Benelli TNT 600i - Owners' Reviews & Experiences
Honestly, please dont go for the ones benelli is providing. They are worthless and will do more damage than saviour for your bike. We have few frnds here in delhi with bad experience.Originally posted by Hitesh Surana View PostFor 5k benelli offers amazing 2 pair of frame sliders
First of all congrats for your first inline4. Enjoy every bit of it. Dont be scared pushing the bike abit every now and then. Breaking in period is pretty crucial part of a bike and the way you handle first 1000kms play important role in shaping the character of your engine. Just like you teach a baby how to do stuff. Anyways, thats totally different topicOriginally posted by jesal View PostWhere can i get frame sliders / crash sliders for my benelli 600i in pune ?
I dont know much about pune, but you can get some really decent ones from aliexpress. Myself and many many ppl here in delhi have got from ali and they worked fine when needed. I am a bit less active here compared to my early days but i'll try to share few links for good sliders.
Till then ride safe mate.Ride what you Love !!

Always go with opinions of existing owners. These days a lot of half headed gimps are out there with an action cam and they proclaim to be motovlogger or reweiver, when they themselves dont even own a sbk or havent ridden more than may be 10-15 kms of any bike. To know and understand how these premijm machine works, one needs tl be part of the family atleast. I am not saying that they should only talk about the bike they own or they should own every bike they talk about. But there is a healthy mindset that one has to develop before owning a premium bike bcz there are many aspects that come along the joy, its part of the package.
Anyways, what I wanted to point out was, there will always be yeas and nays for evry bike. Go and take a test ride, a good long test ride. Get some numbers from existing customers about expenses, i guess you must have an idea about that by now alreadg from this forum. And then go with your gut feeling.
Few things to assist your confusion may be,
Pros
- the bike is robust and heavy quality wise, cast iron engine is meant to last a decade easily or even more. Can be abused and pushed to limits.
- handles very well, and is a beautiful balance between supersport and upright riding stanze, Just perfect stanze for anyone from height range 5'6"-5'11"
- this Bike has a calm character in lower rev range, which for many is a boon and for others a turn off. This is where most of these half headed reviewer coming from no experience start blabbering about the negatives. They simply fail to understand that this engine has been tuned in a certain way to behave like this. In my opinion its a great thing that this bike a smooth and relaxed at lower revs hence making it feel like home and so easy to ride around in city without jerking your neck everytime. And post 6k rpm is when yoh actually get the minerals working, I think which is a really convinient way of using the power only when required. People expect a panigale out of every bike in India, sad.
- Due to this character its a very convinient bike to ride around, even with a pilion. You cant do this everyday with any other inline4 available in market.
- it doesnt heat up much in compared to any other inline4 available. Even duke heats up terribly than the 600i. I have owned both for fair period with extensive riding so I know inside out.
- this might surprize many here, but the bike does beautiful wheelies even in second gear. So its beast if your ride it well.
- Mileage is decent, you can run it on normal or extra premium/speed/93 fuels. No issues at all. No need to searching for 97 or so, which is suggested in other inline4es.
- Pretty powerful front breaking, I have pulled stpppies a lot of times, its like dropping an anchor straight away. And the chasis responds well due to very good balancing and weight distribution of bike.
- the pirelli ngles are decent tyres, I have no chicken strips left on my tyres, pretty decent in handling rough patches too. Trustworthy, and can live upto 12-15k kms if you ride well.
I can write a bit more but in a bit of rush right now.
Cons
- short sevice interval, but thats only due to the shitty dsk business tactics.
- after sales is a mess in pretty much all cities.
- rear brake is not a hero in compared to front.
Honestly I cant think of any more cons at the moment.
Apart from this, even the best of best brands have flaws and niggles in their products, so a little hiccups should be easy to digest. Apart from that this bike has never vave up on me in last over 1.5 years. I can garuntee that is a bike yoh can ride everyday tl work. It gives you pleasure of a cruiser when you want to chill, and all the horses when you need to drop a gear and disappear.
I hope this clears up few of your confusions. Please feel free to ask anything.Ride what you Love !!

Re: Benelli TNT 600i - Owners' Reviews & Experiences
Hi!
Sorry for posting here as could not find a thread for GT
I have 600GT and my friend has a 600i, i have driven both bikes and both are great bikes they are inline 4 and for the engine capabilities underpowered so the engine should last and last and last.
The reason for going for GT is the riding position its very comfortable and much better then i and since i have an back issue ideal for me however the sitting height is bit high and i believe for small riders it is going to be issue
The bike overall is very good yes service intervals are very short which is a downer and some of the service centers are not the best my friends bike had to be kept at the Andheri service centre for around 5 days as they did not have engine oil
I would recomend this bike to all those who are moving up from commuter bikes to sports bike as this being an inline four the power delivery is pretty lame till the tourque kicks in at around 5 - 6k RPM which means very easy to ride
What i love about the bike is i can be in sixth gear and riding at around 50 - 60 kmph and still do not require to change gears
The only issue with Benelli is getting spare parts from local market as none of the spare part dealers either have any parts or accessories for benelli and the original cost a bum i had to change my rear break pads and original one cost 4.5k for a pair which is really expensive

The advantage with all those bikes so mentioned above are you can outsource the parts for them from after market dealers not for benelli another example which is not related but relevant K&N makes air filters for hyosung but not for BenelliOriginally posted by jesal View PostI thought ASS is fantastic for benelli DSK pune and the sales representative told me that brakes pads life use to get over in 5000 to 6000 kms before but after ABS version it will last 10k kms easily he also told me that the brake pads have been changed to much better quality than befores , i dont know about chain or anything elSe but i specially asked for brakes . And availibility of parts for all super bikes the story is the same let it be Benelli or trusted kawsaki or suzuki, hyosung, ducati ,triumph , harley infact my friend who owes a ducati had some problem with immobilizer and he had to wait for good two and a half month for that part to arrive if an unusual part gets damaged than u have to wait for atleast a month or two i guess .
but i can say as the sale for benelli is increasing day by day DSK should be keeping most of the parts in there inventory for least customer harrasment and incease there trust on the customer .
Just want to hear some good ownership review of 600i which has clocked around 10k kms
Prons and cons
Regards
Jesal
Brake pads are available easily in aftermarket or you can order from aliexpress because they are common with many other bikes

There are actually two showrooms in Thane and Andher there is one coming up in town some where do not recollect the area but i am sure about the third as my friend is joining the same
The service intervals are around three months which is really a downer

JesalOriginally posted by razzer View PostHi, anyone using their 600i for a daily commute? What are the service intervals? I've heard they're quite short for the Benellis.
Also in Mumbai, there is just ONE showroom, that too at Thane
Am waiting for the 2017 Duke 390 or the Bajaj VS400 or (not likely) the Honda CB500

Re: Benelli TNT 600i - Owners' Reviews & Experiences
Please check oil level. If it's good, then definitely an issue with oil pressure sensor. Check if it goes off when you rev hard. Get it either fixed or replaced under warranty.Originally posted by lucky_stormhunk View PostGuys please get me out of this trouble. The oil change indicator is glowing all the time. How to correct this thing?

It is very much covered under warranty. May I know which city's service center are you referring to? Please escalate to South India Service head if they decline replacement of the same. Electricals are very much covered under warranty unless you modified wiring by adding any accessories.Originally posted by lucky_stormhunk View PostBut service guy told me that sensor will not get replaced under warranty as it is an electric equipment. I have to pay for it. Is it so?

Every goddamn part on the bike is covered under warranty except the wear and tear ones and unless you have tampered with the electricals. If he is denying it for replacement, file a complaint with DSK.Originally posted by lucky_stormhunk View PostBut service guy told me that sensor will not get replaced under warranty as it is an electric equipment.
