The company person says its not a big issue it happens every 1st service
Hey man, its just another niggle, sooner or later most of the owners face this. Overheating of the horn is the main reason behind it due to its positioning too close to the pipes, unless any other issue with horn like loose circuit or just a faulty horn.
One of the quick fix is to get an extender (just a metal angle/strip also called patti in hindi [emoji14] ) and get the horn mounted on it so it sits a bit far from the pipes.
Another suggestion would be to upgrade to dual horns (preferably the one that sounds like 'pawnnn' ) the one with plastic body/covering. You already need those metal pattis to install them properly and they stay far from pipes heat. Few brands to mention are bosch, minda etc. I got the bosch ones recently after facing the same issue. Now happy with the upgrade and enjoying hassle free traffic cutting and highway presence rather than the shitty stock moped type horn.. 'peem peeeem' !!!!
    I hope this help.
    Cheers

Sure, I am out of town atm. I'll share pics once I get back home. I got bosch set for around Rs.470 and a Relay for Rs.100
Always go for a good quality relay, i got minda relay.
Note: no need of chipping any wire. Just get a direct connection from battery, and get a simple 10-15 amp fuse in between the wire to avoid any faliure. The horns and relay will last longer this way.

Hello All, need some suggestions and help. I'm planning to buy 600i, had been to showroom and liked the bike. My concern is I'm 5.2" and I just make it to reach the ground on my toes... Can we reduce the seat height or any ideas please...

Hi, anyone using their 600i for a daily commute? What are the service intervals? I've heard they're quite short for the Benellis.
Also in Mumbai, there is just ONE showroom, that too at Thane Am waiting for the 2017 Duke 390 or the Bajaj VS400 or (not likely) the Honda CB500

I dont think that seat height is adjustable .. but you can ask benelli people for long test drive and you can surly drive in traffic condition to test how comfortable you are in stop and go traffic condition .

Yes that can work but u have to use a good density form so it can give u equal comfort that what i think .

Update on the Black 600i ABS post 1st servicing.

Run-In period was a pretty nagging thing since I purchased the bike bang in the middle of the rains. Had to complete the run-in before going back to work. Got a decent mileage of 20kmpl during the run-in. SVC guys were stoked as they said they never heard of this mileage before.

Post servicing, I've opened up the throttle on multiple occasions but still receive a decent mileage of 17kmpl.
Overall very happy and pleased with the bikes performance specially with having the ABS as now the stopping power is immense!!
1st service bill was 3.6k which was alright.
Have vibrations on the right tank fibre which will get it done for the 2nd service.
After having ridden it in the rains, the light swtich and the ignition switch had carbon formed in them which caused issues with starting and switching on the lights.
Also, the radiator fan didn't turn on in the midst of riding which resulted in overheating and failure of the temperature sensor which caused it to flush out around 200ml of radiator coolant. RSA was quick to pick up the bike and SVC got the sensor changed and the switches cleaned for free. Had to pay 400 for the coolant top up though.

All in all, happy with the bike and the SVC here up to now.
