Re: Benelli TNT 600i - Onwers' Reviews & Experiences
from the cost all spares are pretty much standard price , and even very economical, as i see only labour/service charge and other stupid charges are costing moreOriginally posted by jamesrocky View Post

Have a close inspection of the disk rotor and calipers. Defective disk rotars or calipers will cause significant wear and tear irrespective of the brake being used. Look for signs of scratches on the rotor.Originally posted by jamesrocky View PostThanks @TheArcher84. I have add you in whatsapp
But the service guys showed me worn-out back break pads. I was surprised to see 80% of the pads completely gone for just 3400kms. They told that I was using too much rear brake, which is wrong. I use front a lot and rear to support the breaking. I am not happy with the quality of rear breaks. They told me that it should be replaced and the cost would be 4.2k +400 Rs labour as it is not covered under warranty. Initially I agreed. Later I thought of digging in aliexpress and found that the rear brake pads cost just 1.8k. Hence ordered this. I will try to get it replaced in normal garage

Try getting GRB /GBR something its called break pads in ceramic. There are multiple qualities check which quality you are getting on the break pad. Cos the initial bite on the ones in 600 is anyways poor.

very few people go for the naked kawasaki. (i myself prefer the faired 650
N650 trumps B600i in touring department + its also good for weekend rides.
so that is one reason i feel the parallel twin would be more vfm.
but then again the cost of ownership might be more with kawasaki..... i am not sure.
i am hoping that the ninja won't dissapoint me. will give a second look at er6n too and may be the gt also
cheers.
If you are worried about the Kawasaki's service cost and ownership experience, I am pretty much sure it won't cost as much as the 600i is costing, which someone has put up above clearly mentioning just for the 2nd service itself a whopping 8k bill amount, which is in the territory of the Z800. There is an Xbhp member named Sachin Nair, who has a Ninja 650, and who is an avid rider and also has put up a very detailed explanation of his cost of services from service #1 and on the whole they average around 5k if you observe, check it out. He has done around 60k on his bike now!!

I tried to park close to the wall, the clutch lever touched the wall even before I put the stand. All the weight of the bike was on clutch lever, so it got bent slightlyOriginally posted by TheArcher84 View PostWHy there is a change in the clutch lever, did you drop it or what happened ?

The disc rotor and calipers are fine. It is just the bad quality break pads.Originally posted by teezam View PostHave a close inspection of the disk rotor and calipers. Tell me about the bungee cords. Everything.
What brand are they? What length? From where did you buy them? Did you order them online? Are the black and the red ones the same length. And everything else.
