I am getting a problem with radiator fan. It doesn't triggers up and after temperature reaching 115 degrees. H2o warning flashes on screen. Also coolant gets flushed out from the reservoir tank via pipe. Can someone give some opinion as to what is happening.

Rightly said Akshay, that is the right way to zero down on a motorcycle...Originally posted by aksh1984 View PostYou read the reviews etc and then form the same opinions and to an extent that you carry it with you even before test riding the bike.
Let me give you my example...upon having decided to upgrade, the two bikes that I liked and which were in my budget were the ER6N and the 600i...! N where I went wrong was that I saw all these YouTube videos talking about how the 600i doesn't have any lower or mid range torque etc etc..n I carried that with me...!! After having test ridden both the bikes (and seriously, I had half a mind of not even going for the benelli test ride), I was trying to find faults with the 600i to reassure myself that I was making the right decision with the er6n and I kept telling myself that it lacks the punch, it lacks the torque...but two days later, I could still feel the thrill of riding the 600i and absolutely had no recollection of having ridden the er6n...! That's really when i started listening to my heart...next thing I know I rent a 600i from wicked Ride and took the bike for a longer ride on the kolar road...where I experienced both bumper to bumper traffic and also empty stretches of road...n I knew then there was no way I was getting anything but the 600i cause the sheer pleasure and the feel of riding it was immense. Yes it takes a lil while to fire up, but once it does you better be holding on for life...
and frankly, the bike has a decent low and midrange torque as well....my purpose is not to get in drag races, so really until it's that for anyone, the bike has enough low and midrange torque..
Having said this, to each their own and I am definitely not questioning the motovloggers...a few of the are really really good and provide good insights..but at the end of the day, biking to me is an indulgence and you would be better off listening to your heart... So booked my 600i and I should get it early next month... Wohooo...can hardly wait...
Anyhow, wanted to check if there is any 600i owners group in Bangalore that exists....!! If not we should definitely look at creating one...

Thermostat issue prevents fan from kicking in. Get checked in service center immediately. Never let the temperature go above 94 degrees. Its not good for engine health.Originally posted by Sid31 View PostI am getting a problem with radiator fan. It doesn't triggers up and after temperature reaching 115 degrees. Sanket faced the same problem...issue is with the radiator fan which fails to operate properly...the service center guys will replace it under warranty, dont worry.Originally posted by Sid31 View PostI am getting a problem with radiator fan. So I went to service centre and they replaced the thermostat switch. Under warranty. As of now it's all good. My fan gets triggered sometime at 87 and 92 degree. Is that okay?Originally posted by Ankit_Rana View PostSanket faced the same problem...issue is with the radiator fan which fails to operate properly...the service center guys will replace it under warranty, dont worry.

Congrats Krishna, Thats a nice bike and a good head gear, no offense, but a crappy glove, please upgrade to a better one. You will need it as the clutch makes life painful while riding it.Originally posted by Krishna Murthy View PostHi Benellians, I am posting for the first time, and this post is just to thank you all ! Re: Benelli TNT 600i - Onwers' Reviews & Experiences
Bro, I have test ridden the bike twice, prior to riding the benelli, I rode a ninja 650 with a full akrapovic system, first time on a 650 it was exciting, I sat on the benelli again, the power does take a bit to come but I guess that's how its tuned, but yeah otherwise it was very smooth, doing a compare, the ninja was more exciting , must be akrapovic for sure, I'm edging towards benelli if they add abs on the bike, any bike above 300+cc needs abs in my opinion for safety obviously, funny part I have never ridden a d390, I own a CBR 250, rode a ninja 650, benelli 600, n a Yamaha tzr 250 two stroke twin cylinder bike.Originally posted by kunnu@cbz View PostThe 8k mark thing - though it's factually correct; try pushing a 85ps machine on Indian roads on full throttle and you'd realise how futile that power is.
What I mean to say is, don't go by what you've heard or read, as everyone has a context to what they're saying, but, they generally omit the context or we chose to ignore it while listening/reading.
A sincere suggestion would be to try it out yourselves! Go ahead and take a test ride!
Now back to the question - Does the fun start at 8k? Well, it depends on what you call fun! If, for you, acceleration is the only fun thing in a bike, this isn't something you should be considering. You'd probably be better off even with a Duke390 at 1/3rd the price.
PS - I'm not judging your opinion, but, somehow, I feel you're believing only with what most people say. There's much more to it!

Re: Benelli TNT 600i - Onwers' Reviews & Experiences
If you've ridden the Benelli, then you're obviously aware of how it is. I believe it's not the exhaust that would have made so much of difference to the N650. They're (N650/ER6N) definitely faster than the 600i at least at the lower speeds (haven't pushed it), that's mostly due to the abundance of low end torque.Originally posted by Deathwing View PostBro, I have test ridden the bike twice, prior to riding the benelli, I rode a ninja 650 with a full akrapovic system, first time on a 650 it was exciting, I sat on the benelli again, the power does take a bit to come but I guess that's how its tuned, but yeah otherwise it was very smooth, doing a compare, the ninja was more exciting , must be akrapovic for sure, I'm edging towards benelli if they add abs on the bike, any bike above 300+cc needs abs in my opinion for safety obviously, funny part I have never ridden a d390, I own a CBR 250, rode a ninja 650, benelli 600, n a Yamaha tzr 250 two stroke twin cylinder bike.
I loved the exhaust note and wanted an i4, so opted for 600i.

Re: Benelli TNT 600i - Onwers' Reviews & Experiences
Obviously the levels of refinement will be higher on the benelli that's also one of the reasons but keeping my options open, I've had my eyes on the CBR 650f for a long time but its price point just puts me downOriginally posted by kunnu@cbz View PostIf you've ridden the Benelli, then you're obviously aware of how it is. Guys...another price hike..the OR price for the 600i goes up by around 6K in Bangalore. Was just informed by the dealer. Exact hike figure to be known in a day.
Guess will have to dish out a lil more cash...!!
