I am facing one issue though. The fuel indicator seems to be working in an absurd manner. When the bike is cold or I start it in the morning, that's when the fuel indicator (I think) shows the correct amount. Let's say, when I start it in the morning it shows 2 bars and as the temp goes up, the bars go on increasing till it shows full and then it stays there while I am riding it (even if I ride for 100 kms or so)..n let's say I give it a rest of 1-2 hours, but cause it's still warm when I start it again it still shows full...so I have realised that the correct fuel is shown to me the first time in the day when I turn on the bike...!!
This is turning out to be a problem for me specially when I go on long rides, cause I hear no idea of how much fuel do I really have..
Anyone else face a similar issue and what should be the course of action..??
I have not faced the above problem, but I can still say that the fuel indicatior is pathetic. Sometimes when the bike is about to reach reserve, the last bar starts blinking and after some time I get the last two bars again. Same thing happens when I fill, the indicator bars are not very accurate, they always fluctuate, I believe the fluctuation is based on the position of the bike. if I am goin

I think this is a repeated problem with the fuel sensors which is not reliable on highways. I have not come across any gt owners yet? Same issues on that bike too?

Has anyone considered or have an idea for aftermarket alternatives to the handlebars and RVMs?
I'm not someone who prefers aftermarket parts than stock but these two have been kind of pain points for me.

Handlebars - I find it a bit too upright and hence looking for alternates - something like Z800's? It's been almost 6 months/5.5k kms now, and I, somehow, still prefer the forward lean of my R15 than the quite upright stance of the Benelli, so looking for a change.

RVMs - haven't tried adjusting it too much, mechanically, but, feel the view is quite limited given the shape of it.

        Any suggestions would be appreciated!

The position of the bike (leaned on the side-stand or upright while you're riding) definitely affects the fuel gauge. I believe that's applicable to all bikes, not just Benellis.

Having said that, I find the FE indicator to be working perfectly fine on my bike.

I'm not too sure about handle bars but you can try these RVMs from aliexpress, might range from $30 to $45 with free shipping

I'm sure these'll look better than the stock ones.

Great news, I got confirmation that the ABS is available here in Bangalore and I'm planning to book it in a week. The price would be around 40 to 50K more which is fine I guess.

This bike just got a lot better with upgraded stopping power. Yeah I think this is it -- it's gonna be the benelli 600.

Yup, these short mirrors look kickass. there are more similar options. I too have shorties.
Btw, few ppl might think that it covers less range, a solution for that would be to just stick the blind spot mirrors on the inner side of mirrors. just like we put on the car side mirrors.

came off as in, he went over a small pot i guess or a breaker as i recall, and one of them popped off. luckily no one was hurt.

overall performance of gt is quite promising though. it may seem slow but its not to be honest. especially at higher speeds, riding gt is more effortless as compared to our tnt. ofcourse due to wind blast. he was keeping up with us pretty well over all. i m sure he is happy with his bike, except for his experiences with the dealership.
