yea the service is at every 4k kmsOriginally posted by IamAditya View PostIs it true?
Service is at every 4k kms for a 600cc bike?
I was actually blown away by the vfm fact 600i has, an inline 4 at that price, sounds even better than some bigger inline 4 monsters.
But service interval at 4k kms sounds ridiculous and with this hefty service charge.
Even my RS200 has 5k interval for servicing.
if u dont service it at 4k kms or 4 months, they say the warranty will void
.......but the machine is amazing
, its just the service part thats frustrating!!

Well, almost all superbikes have a similar pricing when it comes to chain and sprockets, tyres. The main cost of owning a superbike is just not about the service. It is the set of tyres which costs around 25k and the chain and the sprockets which costs around 25k. The life of the tyres is usually around 15-20k kms depending upon the riding style. Even the life of chain and sprocket is around 20k kms.
So, if a superbike has done around 20k kms, then it is time for new tyres ,chain and sprocketsPast & Current Bikes :

Re: Benelli TNT 600i - Owners' Reviews & Experiences
Hello everyone..
Done with the 4th service of my Benelli 600i.
Kms Done - 12000 approx.
Changed Spark Plugs as it should be changed every 12000kms according to ASC guys. Brake pads still good enough to last till next service.
Tyres can last for 3000-3500kms more but i noticed that the rear tyre have taken air on the side wall. Had a talk with a Pirelli dealer they said this won't be covered under warranty as it has been puncture repaired
Changed air filter for the first time. Oil filter and oil changed. Done coolant top-up.
Total service cost - Rs. 9065/-

I suggest each one of us should write a letter to DSK to increase the service interval. The amount they are charging is quite acceptable but to spend an average of 7500-8000 on normal service every 4 months and that too for an inline 4 cylinder motorcycle is not needed.
I hope if atleast 30-40 owners of benelli will give this in writing to DSK, some changes can be done for service interval.Last edited by vicky19990; 02-10-2017, 02:33 PM.

Re: Benelli TNT 600i - Owners' Reviews & Experiences
Hello Gang,
I had a great time following this thread and enjoyed all your stories. I congratulate all the new owners. At the same time would like to share that I have parted my ways with my lovely tnt600 after a blissful 1.5 years. I had no issues with the bike and I absolutely loved what it had to offer. But eventually my inclination towards adventure riding has insisted me to let the beast go to some other hands and make way for something more suitable and purposeful. I must admit I have met few gems only because of tnt and I cherish those friends for life. I hope to find many more gems in future while exploring the world of motorcycling. I'll be unsubscribing this thread but will be available via pm if anyone is seeking any sort of info from my experience n learnings with the tnt.
Wish you all brothers several blissful miles with your partner(tnt).
Cheers !!Last edited by Sanket_R15; 02-10-2017, 02:37 PM.Ride what you Love !!

Anyway you save enough money at the time of buying to get good quality riding gear and at least 3-4 years of servicing even with these ultra short service intervals.
They got to make money somewhere man!! It is sufficiently good product.
