    4. There is a Material Black Hard Sponge , if you can get you hands on them, use them to twist inside both end holes, dono where to get that, but you may find some alternative material.
Hahahaha Deepak.. Point 3 was the best !!!

Installed Clip-on on my SF. They are from R15.
Now the handling has become even better. Feels confident while cornering. Total cost of modification was ₹2000.

Very less tampering has been done to the stock handle clamp base, so won't affect the warranty. Handle locks properly. Had to lathe out two custom fork caps where the handles are clamped. These are longer than the stock ones which didn't have a stem to attach the handle. So basically a very satisfactory job at a very reasonable price. The best part is now the bike looks like a mini-busa!!! [emoji16] [emoji41] [emoji7]
The sense of freedom these two wheels give can never be matched by anything else...

I've small doubts with my new sf.,

I'm strictly maintaining less than 4.5k rpm.
Regarding speed limit,on an avg I'm doing 50.,but I do reach upto 55+.,the highest speed till now is 59.

Should I strictly follow speed limit below 50?.

And I feel the mileage I'm getting is too low.,how do you guys measure it?

Occasionally it's advisable to go above the Rev limit because the engine must be exposed to various rpms when new... But don't red line it or maintain a high rpm constantly until first service... And mileage , two methods can be used... Full tank or reserve to reserve... Most widely used method is reserve to reserve

Was wondering why it was not cracked till now..

The issue of the r15's posture being a pain in d ass in stop start traffic is well known... Pls tel us in detail of how the riding comfort and ergonomics r feeling now..

Can you pls give us more details and yes lots more pics..also a video of how and what you did if you can..that would be fascinating...

I think the fake pretense of a sport bike has not gone down well with a lot of owners after riding and seeing what this baby has to offer...

Also it's a case of looks not compensating the power..! (Or shud it be said the other way around?)

This chassis can easily handle a quarter litre engine without any doubt..
It's built quality is absolutely top notch..

Till Suzuki very recently opened their two wheeler production plant near chennai, the SF was being made in a maruti suzuki car plant in gurgaon is what i heard from one of the sales managers...so paint quality and finish is as good as u can possibly expect..

Costs had to be kept in mind and that was why the compromise on technology..
But the kind of upgrades coming up purely based on customer feedback is heartwarming....albeit painful to watch for us existing owners..

Rear disc is definitly an addon but not something we can't do without..
And since it's a closed loop Fi, there will hardly be any noticeable difference even for experienced eyes...

Will be interesting to see what the revised power figures will be if atall but my thought is that there will not be much change..so no need to fret y'al..!!
The new livery does look cool tho it can be done on our's too since it is only decals and can easily be obtained from SVCs after few months..wouldn't cost much either...if one is so inclined..

I rode with few biker buddies on their R15s, KTMs, R3 and Ninjas..and they were all praise for suzuki for building this mean machine which can punch well above it's weight..

Sorry for the long writeup..i don't get much time buh just making the most of time spent here..i love how active and enthusiatic all of you are..

                    Keep it going..Cheers !!

My Friend did that too but his handles are banging against front fairing while turning, if you could confirm such thing is not happening i'd like to install tha too.

do we have to cut , weld, or do something nasty with bike ?

No, nothing to the bike has been done except just one small drill to the handle T for the bolt below both the handle clamps. It was just for extra security. You can skip them if you want.

And no, it doesn't hit the fairing in anyway, nor the tank. You have to precisely adjust the levers to keep them from hitting the fairing. I'll post some detailed pics later in the day.

Fantastic job man, this just might be the revolution for current Gixxer Sf owners. Just like the others I would too request you to put up a tutorial/info video on this clip-on set-up and assembly.
Also, if you could post prices meanwhile for the actuals and labour, that'd be helpful.

Freaking excited looking at the possibility of clip-ons let alone the feasibility.
